7. New Players

Gelo and I have been chilling a lot more lately. No sex, just chilling. He said he plans on breaking up with Jaden soon because he wants to be with me.

Kaila POV

"Stop! Run it again! Treasure, Set the screen. Jaden, drive to the rim and pass out to the left corner. Kaila, make the shot. Again or we will be here all night!" Coach Cori yells out.

We start the play again. I get an off ball screen from Shakira and run to the corner. I clap my hands for Jaden to pas the ball but she goes up with a layup instead.

"Owens! Pass the ball or get off my court! If you can't follow the play then you will sit out" coach says. "Again"

We run the play again and this time Jaden passes me the ball. I take the shot and it goes in. "Again". We run the same play until it was down to perfection.

After practice everyone had left, Shakira drove home and Treasure left with Dre. I stayed behind and got some extra shots up. "You not gone hit That bitch again". I turn around and see Gelo standing there. I smirk at him and shoot the shot again making it.

"Stop acting like I'm not a goat" I say to him. Gelo takes off his pants and hoodie. He gets on the court and grabs the ball after I shoot a shot.

"Play me one on one." Gelo says shooting the ball.

"LiAngelo you don't want this work" I say back to him.

"Try me. Ima bang on yo ass" he says giving me first ball. "You want me to play for real"

On the first possession I dribble the ball at three. Geo didn't step up so I shoot the ball and it goes in.
"Don't disrespect" I say to him laughing.

This time I drive in and step back and shoot. Gelo contest and I fall to the ground. I hear the ball go through the nets. "And oneeee!!!!!" I yell as I get up.

"That's fake bro" Gelo says smacking his lips. I laugh at Gelo getting serious.

The next play I get by him and lay up the ball, but he blocks it off the glass and gets the rebound. Gelo takes it back and then shoots the ball and makes it.

"Finally. I didn't want to do you too dirty" I trash talk him.

After Gelo scores a few times the score gets to 10-8 Gelo up. I back off him and give him the space to shoot. Instead Gelo runs towards me. "Ahhhh" I scream and move to the side, Gelo dunks the ball and hangs in the rim.

"That's game" Gelo says as he comes down from the rim. I go and sit down on the bench and drinks one water.

Gelo- why you move out the way. You was getting dunked on for sure.

Kaila- nigga I'm not going on nobody poster.

Gelo- yeah cus you moved.

Kaila- duhh.

Gelo- I got a question tho. How you feel about being on the show?

Kaila- y'all want me on the show??

Gelo- yeah my dad told me to ask you. Melo gone ask yo sister. Dre and Treasure said yeah.

Kaila- yeah I'll do it. Kinda lit people get to see my beautiful face.

Gelo takes his hand and wipes his sweat on my face. "Nerd" he says getting up.

"Ewwww LiAngelo what the hell" I say to him.

I put my things in my bag and Gelo and I walk out the gym to his truck. Gelo puts my bag in the car while I get in. Before he pulls off Gelo plays "Mister" by Young Nudy.
