                                                                      Inuyasha's POV

Its been 2 dreadful long years since Kagome died and it hurts that I would never see her again. I still remembered it like it was just yesterday.Kagome.........I..miss you.

                                                                    Flashback: 2 years ago

It was a cold winter and me Kaogme,Sango,Miroku,Kiara and Shippo were walking through the snow we were laughing and it was one of the best days of our lives. I smiled as I looked at Kagome's beautiful face and watched as she laughed. she was so beautiful like the crystal snow that was falling down. But just as we were walking Kagome suddenly started coughing violently and then collapsed to the ground clutching her throat then to our horror Kagstarted to throw up blood. i stared with horror as the crimson liquid splattered on to the snow. "K-Kagome?" I stammered as I kneeled next to her holding her thin body. Kagome looked up her beautiful chocolate brown eyes stared back up at me and she smiled weakly at me "D-dont worry I-inuyasha I-ill b-be f-fine. she said in a weak fragile voice. Miroku,Sango, Shippo and Kiara all kneeled next to me as we all stared down at Kagome. "Kagome hold on we will get you to Kaede she can help you" Sango said her voice breaking up. "No S-Sango. I-its t-too late f-for me. A-and besides y-you all knew I was g-going to d-die. Especially y-you Inuyasha." It was true.we were  all expecting this to come but we were all so disracted being happy we didnt even realise she was still so ill. m eyes welled up with tears. It wasn't fair! Why Kagome of all people?! Why?! "D-dont w-worry all of y-you. J-just remember t-that I'm a-aways with you. Shippo s-stay strong f-for m-me ok? Youre g-getting so g-grown up a-and Im s-so p-proud of you Shippo. S-so p-promise me you w-will stay s-strong." Kagome said weakly "I..I promise Kagome." Shippo said quietly his auburn bangs covering his eyes hiding his pain. Kagome nodded her head slowly and turned to look at Miroku. "Miroku y-youre a g-great guy a-and I'm g-glad y-you and S-Sango found h-happiness b-both. P-protect S-Sango with y-your life. S-she n-needs you so m-much" Kagome finished. Miroku looked sadly at Sango who was crying from Kagomes words and then he looked back at Kagome again."Dont worry Kagome I promise I'll keep Sango safe and I never break promises to my friends." Miroku finished and hung his head in sadness. Kagome then looked over at Sango's crying face and gave her a strained loving smile. "Sango i-its ok d-dont cry. Y-you look m-more beautiful w-with a s-smile. B-but Sango r-remember this o-one t-thing. Y-you were a-always l-like my b-big sister a-and y-your always going t-to be. S-so d-dont c-cry o-ok?" Sango covered her mouth as more tears flowed down her cheeks "Dont....worry Kagome I....wont" And then she stopped crying as tears fell down her face and as Miroku hugged her. Kagome then finally turned her head to look at me as my tears were started to fall. "I-Inuyasha these a-are my l-last w-words t-to you. Ever s-since I met y-you, I a-always felt a-as if something w-was missing and y-you c-changed m-my l-life. S-so a-always r-remember that I-I will always b-be with y-you. I-it doesn't m-matter if y-you are h-half d-demon, h-human or f-full d-demon because I l-like you f-for w-who you are a-and I-I always w-will." She said at last. I felt so much pain from Kagomes words that I grabbed her and buried my face into her shoulder and sobbed hard. "T-thank you Kagome." I said weakly. Kagome smiled one last time and with her last breath she said these words to me "I will always love you Inuyasha" and then her eyes closed. I leaned down and pressed my lips to her cold ones. Thats when at that moment I truely loved Kagome.

                                                       Flashback end.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I remembered the flashback of her. She was so beautiful when she was still alive and it had been had for the past 2 years but somehow we all got through it because there was one thing that kept me living and that was those words that Kagome said to me. that she would always love me. Kagome wasn't just the girl I loved or an insparation.

                                                                         Kagome was both.
