Trevor stomped down the stairs after getting told off by his eldest daughter. He barely made it to the front door before Olivia stopped him.
"Did you even go see the girls?" Olivia sighed, as she leaned against the kitchen archway.
"Did you tell them-"
"Trevor, we try not to talk about you. You are a sore spot in this house, so whatever they said was directly from them. Not me. And I honestly have no idea why you hate me so much when you were the one that cheated." Olivia frowned.
"When I chose you-"
"Okay," Olivia grumbled.
"No, listen," Trevor ordered, and Olivia just rolled her eyes as she moved over to the sofa and sat down. Trevor walked over and sat down on the table in front of her before grabbing her shaking hands.
"Let go of me." Olivia breathed.
"Olivia, I have been with Angie since I was a kid. She'll always be the one I love more than anything else in this world. We have history, and that just keeps pulling his back together. I'm sorry and all, but in the end, I need to be with her."
"Trevor, you can't make up your mind. You loved me, and now you love her. Tomorrow you'll come here and ask me to fuck you, and the day after that you'll find someone new. You are a horrible man, and you just keep breaking hearts one after the other. I actually lost my first love in that bus crash, and now I'm losing you too." Olivia spat.
"We can make things work-"
"Between us or in regards to the two kids we created together?" Olivia sighed.
"Ember doesn't want to leave you and her siblings. She said that because I slept with Angie and ruined her birthday week, that she gets to decide things. But she's not your-"
"Can you just get out? Because I'm tired of you bringing up the fact that that girl isn't my daughter. But I've been more of a mother to her since I met her than Angie has been able to be in the 14 years Ember has been alive."
"Angie-"
"Angie was alive. She knew who you and Ember were for longer than she says. She could have found you and came back around long before you and I met. Now, I don't regret what we made from our marriage, but I do regret falling in love with you. All of the men I fall for are assholes in the end, and you aren't any different."

Ember wanted nothing to do with her parents. She was very angry about everything that went down, and how her father wasn't the man that raised her. He was different, and not in a good way. He was no longer her best friend, and it broke her heart.
"So, can we talk?" Ember asked as she walked into Olivia's room. Olivia was sitting cross-legged in the middle of the bed as she went through baby clothes from Adalee and Ainsley. There was a box on the floor with Ember's name on it, and Olivia was going to go through those baby items once she was done.
"Depends if you mind going through this all with me," Olivia said, without a smile on her lips. She had faded, and her face usually lacked emotion more than sadness and anger.
"Can you not afford new things for her?" Ember asked nervously, as she walked over and grabbed her box.
"Ember, we are okay. Don't worry about money. So what do you need to talk about?" Olivia asked as she tossed a stained jumper onto a pile that was growing on the floor.
"I want to only be with you," Ember spoke, and Olivia nodded slowly.
"I know. And I want you here too." Olivia spoke.
"No, Momma... I mean that I don't want my parents anymore. I want to be your daughter. Only your daughter." Ember spoke. Olivia stopped mid-movement and looked at the girl that stole her heart.
"What?" Olivia breathed. Ember stood up and grabbed the piece of paper from the pocket of her pajama pants before looking at her step-mother.
"I did some research. You can adopt me, or even just get complete custody of me if we can prove that my parents are bad. Or if we can get them to sign off on it." Ember spoke.
"Baby, you don't want that-"
"No, Momma. I want this. After what they did... they aren't fit to be my parents. You are though. You have taken care of me no matter how mean I was to you. Your love for me isn't a lie. And if we do this, you should also file for complete custody of Garrett and that baby."
"Ember, you do know that... that if we do this they might never want anything to do with you." Olivia breathed, and Ember nodded.
"That's exactly what I want. I don't want them around anymore after what they did."

The next day, Olivia had a check-up. She had invited Trevor, but she didn't know if he'd make it. She was just getting up to follow a nurse back when Trevor ran in.
"Hey, I'm sorry that I'm late," Trevor spoke, and Olivia nodded as she rolled her eyes. They walked back and Olivia got her weight taken before being led to a room. Olivia got changed before Trevor came in.
"We need to talk." Olivia breathed.
"I'm sorry, but I don't want to get back together." Trevor frowned.
"Okay, so I don't want to be with you. That will never happen... but Trevor, we have two girls we need to talk about." Olivia breathed, as she swung her legs a bit. It's been over a month since the fallout, and Olivia knew that the last ten weeks would go by fast and their daughter would be born before they knew it.
"Which ones?" Trevor sighed.
"This one and Ember..."
"Okay? Can I pick which one to start with?" Trevor asked, and Olivia nodded.
"Sure."
"Ember then," Trevor spoke.
"Trevor, she asked me to file to become her legal guardian and she told me that she doesn't want anything to do with you and Angie..." Olivia breathed.
