A Seventeen Love Story

Prologue

Wonwoo was seated on the couch, glaring at a certain someone. Who was he glaring at you may ask? Well it was none other than his rival, Mingyu. Mingyu was with Hoshi, back hugging him and staring at him lovingly. Too lovingly. Wonwoo couldn't stand it. Whenever Wonwoo was near Hoshi, Mingyu would always butt in and make his way between the two. Sometimes he wished that Mingyu never joined their group, Seventeen. They got closer like magnets, and the more Wonwoo watched, the more angry he became. Hoshi should have been giving him attention, not stupid ass Mingyu.  

Wonwoo has been in love with Hoshi ever since they were kids. From his perfectly plump lips, to his small black glowing eyes he was perfect to Wonwoo, a true angel..

When Wonwoo first started training to become an idol, he hated everyone there. Well, it's not that he actually hated them, it's just that he didn't know how to make friends properly. He always had a mean face on and a lot of the members back then thought he was scary and intimidating,

but not Hoshi. Once Hoshi saw Wonwoo sitting by himself in the corner, he immediately went up to him and demanded that they be friends, and from that day on they've been inseparable. Another person Wonwoo was especially close to back then was in fact Mingyu. They were like the three musketeers. Mingyu and Wonwoo even shared their own special connection. But that all ended when Mingyu broke Wonwoo''s trust.

Flashback...

Wonwoo grabbed Mingyu by the arm and led to an empty room. Forcefully he sat on the padded seat and looked into Mingyu's eyes and slowly started to speak.

"Mingyu, If I told you something personal would you keep it to yourself. Like maybe not tell the other members." He spoke in an almost concerned voice, his eyebrows furrowed.

"Of course, what kind of friend would I be if I exposed you." He spoke back slightly laughing. "Well I...Im gay.." Wonwoo said in a whispered tone, he shyly looked up to meet Mingyu's dark eyes.

Mingyu looked at his friend with confusion. Mingyu has never met a gay person before, well besides Jeonghan. Jeonghan never said he was gay but everyone could tell because of the way he acted. He would always grab the members' butts all the time which Mingyu actually kind of liked but could never admit.

"Wow. Well this is a lot to take in." Mingyu said fearful of the next response "But you know I will always support you, right?"

"Of course. The reason I'm telling you this is because... I have a crush on Hoshi.." Wonwoo said while gazing at the floor, subconsciously forgetting what had seeped out of his plump lips.

"Wait, what do you mean by that?" Mingyu asked with a shocked expression.

"Whenever I see him my stomach fills with literal butterflies. My heart flutters whenever he comes close. I find myself happier when I'm around him too. I dream of pressing my lips against his and making him mine. I just love him so much".

Mingyu became shocked. He realized that everything Wonwoo said was exactly how Mingyu also felt about Hoshi. Did that mean that Mingyu also had a crush on him? No, that can't be. Mingyu is straight, right?

"W-why are you telling me this?" Mingyu finally responded, tripping over the simplest of words.

"I just.. Needed to let my emotions out and come clean. You're the only one I've ever told this too, and I'm trusting you with this because you're my best friend." Wonwoo said with a smile on his handsome face.

"Okay. Thanks for telling me." Mingyu said. "I'm kinda tired, I'm gonna go to sleep." He said whilst his eyes were slowly drooping.

"Alright. See you tomorrow Mingyu." Wonwoo said almost too cheerfully, eyes squinting.

And with that Mingyu was off to bed with a lot running through his mind. He quickly walked away to the room he shared with Jun. He layed in his bed for a bit, and when the coast was clear, he made a run for it. He ran to Hoshi's room quickly, he peeked in from the hallway and saw Hoshi sound asleep, hugging his pillow while snoring softly. His plump pink lips slightly opened. He really looked like an angel, his angel. At that point Mingyu realized that he really was in love with his friend. It made him feel kind of bad considering Wonwoo just came out to him like an hour before, but Mingyu was too entranced by Hoshi's beauty to care at that moment. Mingyu touched Hoshi and tried to shake him awake. Hoshi opened his eyes and yawned.

"Hyung, is it okay if I slept with you? I'm very scared in my room alone.." Mingyu said, completely lying.

"Of course you can." Hoshi said half asleep. "Come here."

Mingyu leaped onto the bed with joy and grabbed onto Hoshi's waist, pulling him close to him. Mingyu dozed off soon after, and he had never slept so good in his life.
