"Todoroki. I know I happened to find you here by chance but why did you let me tag along with you? I mean you have so much you can do here, I don't think you need me around."

"Yaoyorozu, this is something you typically do with your family but I knew that no one would be able to make it with me, or if they did, it would just be argument upon argument. You've made this night very enjoyable for me and I don't regret escorting you, even if we've just been strolling in circles the whole time."

A thundering crackle entered the night sky as Todoroki finished his speech of reassurance. Glittering and luminous strokes of color popped in succession as everyone glared up in awe. Perhaps realizing it this time around, Todoroki leaned in for Yaoyorozu's hand and initiated a supple, chivalrous grip. Fingers intertwined, both didn't utter a word as their gazes went up towards the fireworks display.

Shoto slowly dipped his head and admired the girl standing next to him. He always held a great amount of respect for Momo and with everything they've been through together in their time at UA, he felt a foreign feeling start to take shape. Todoroki fancied Momo for a long while, and despite being awfully oblivious to it, tonight he had realized so.

"Todoroki, thank you so much for tonight. I don't think I've had this much fun in such a long time. You really did make this night special for me."

In an unexpected turn, Momo gives Shoto a delicate kiss on his left cheek. He takes his free hand and caresses her face. Giving a firm but compassionate gaze into the night-sky irises of her eyes, he goes into a slight lean forward and kisses her.

It was a moment of perfection. Fireworks flared above their heads as the two shared a warm twinkle of embrace. After months of being unaware of their undying chemistry, they had both finally snapped. To them, this was the climax in a story that had been winding forever.

The rockets of fire had ceased and both of them headed home. What they were now was unknown to them but that was a concern for the future. What blazed in both of their minds at that moment was that snippet of time playing over and over. It stayed in their heads throughout the duration of the weekend.
