Will I get asked out to prom? (Part 1)

On a school night may stays up to finish up her homework but then she heres (click-clack 2×) may ignores it at first, a couple of minutes later may finishes her homework she gets in her pj's but then she here's the (click-clack) sounds again like if it was getting closer, louder she gets closer but before she knew it she heres a big (BANG!!) may screams ("ahhh what is that!!") her little brother Mark runs in ("Whats wrong big sis?'') says mark ("ther-r-e was a big bang") May says (''it's okay") says mark ("let me try to sleep okay i have school tomorrow") May says sadly. The next morning, "May wake up and get ready the bus will be coming soon" says May's mom "oh yeah i forgot to tell you jen and karla are coming to pick me up!" may says "oh alright says her mom","see you later honey" says may's mom "see ya!"
Later on may arrives at school, 'uhh another day another subject to be taught" says jen "well what else do you suspect were in highschool" says karla "okay you two i have to go i have to return this homework" May says grudgingly "okay bye" says her two friends, on the way to class may sees the hunged up poster on the wall saying "prom is next week", "i wish someone would ask me out to prom" May says in disappointment.
After class, may was walking down the hallway to go put up her books so she can be ready for her next class, but on the way there she bumbs in to her crush adam, may blushed "oh i-im sorry" may says, adam smurked "its okay" adam says, may gets done with all her classes, but she can't stop  thinking about the way adam smurked at her. On the way to the cafeteria she sees her friends getting lunch too! "The best part of the day!!" says jen "you wont believe what just happened" says may "what happened!!?" says jen and karla " i bumped into adam!" says may "omg! what he say?" jen said "what he do" says karla "i said sorry and he smurked at me and he said it was okay!"
"Thats it?!" says jen "you didnt even ask for his number" said karla "ummmm noo" may says nervously may gets home to go do her homework because she wants to hurry and finish so she can have some rest for the next day. The next day, like usual may goes to school with her friends karla and jen, "May!'' said jen "you have to ask adam for his number one day ya know!'' jen said calmly "YEAH!'' says karla "you guys i just dont think it the right time'' may says sadly "what do you mean!'' says karla "we all know adam likes you back but neither of you guys has the confidence to ask each other out'' karla says frustratingly " i know but'"
"THERES NO BUTTS!'' says jen " YOU GUYS LIKED EACH OTHER SINCE 3RD GRADE!" jen says loudly "i guess your right'' says may "ill go ask him for his number" may says happily, The girls Arrive at school, "okay im gonna go look for adam before class starts'' says may "okay you only have 15 minutes'' says karla "okay''  may said, 10 minutes later, "oh there he is'' says may, while walking up to adam "umm hey adam we need to talk'' says may "i need to talk to you to actually" says mark "okay ill go first'' says may "no let me go first'' says adam "are you sure'' says may "yes im sure'' says adam, while grabbing mays hands, " w-w-will you''.
