The Sky was dark; heavy with the scent of blood. The atmosphere of the Forbidden dark forest, just like its name was wild with a tinge of evilness, making goosebumps arise on the body of all the men dressed in black.
It was weird seeing so many people in the most forbidden area of the Martial clan. Even the top leaders of the various sects of martial clan had fearful face.
Despite that , they had no choice but to gritt their teeth and walk through the Forbidden dark forest.
A petite figure, claded in red was walking swiftly with limpid steps. The redness of her dress was not due to any color but her own flood drenching her red. Her clear but beautiful eyes were red with tiredness and anger. Her long eyelashes had small drops of her sweat mixed with flood. Her milky white skin , bruished with deep wounds and her long silky hair was in disarray.
Despite her poor look , she looked just like an injured tigress . Her aura almost majectic making the beasts of the forbidden dark forest cower in fear and hide deep into the forest.
When she reached the end of her walk , the little hope in her eyes disappeared . When she was chased by the martial clan , she abruptly escaped to the Forbidden dark forest.
Although she regreted that instant but she had no choice. She could only hope that she could find a way to escape.
Seeing the dead-end cliff infront of her , her legs got weak and she plopped down on her knees. Her whole body trembling as all the past months grievance and tiredness surrounded her.
Many distant footstep could be heard walking towards her. Zhou Xinlan gave a self-mocking gaze while caressing the exceptionally beautiful Blood phoenix ring on her finger.
Her grandfather was crippled by those greedy Leaders of various sects of Martial clans to force to submit the Phoenix ring. Despite all the torture her grandfather didn't abide to their orders and made to escape away.
She didn't knew the origin of the Blood Phoenix ring. Her grandfather told her that she was born with it but that was humanly immpossible.
Nobody knew about the origin and importance of the ring not even herself.
One day the Arrogant Daughter of the Head of the Martial Clan took a liking to the radiant blood red phoenix ring on her finger and order her to give it to her.
When Zhou Xinlan didn't gave her the ring , she made a fuss and ordered all the sects leaders of Martial Clan to get her the ring by force.
She looked downwards the cliff and gasped seeing River of Lava . The river flowing down the cliff was not water but hot fire.
The only hope in her eyes vanished too. She was thinking to jump down the cliff to save herself but who knew that jumping down the cliff is like to invite instant death.
The red hot lava will even perish her bones.
Blinkin her eyes , she glanced back to see multiple black -clothed peoples walking toward her direction. The black-clothed peoples were leaded by four middle-aged man.
There grim looking face smiled seeing the weak and poor stature of Zhou Xinlan.
Zhou Xinlan stood on her legs stubbornly despite being weak. She glared at the group with blood-thirst eyes. The groups even the four leaders shivered seeing those eyes.
How can a small girl make us fear her?
Calming their heart , they looked at the weak girl before scoffing at their thoughts. They gave out a smug smile seeing she had no way to escape now.
One of the leader glared at the girl who made him chase her for months.
" Zhou Xinlan , Its not good to be so stubborn. You should yield to the stronger."
Looking at the man with a mocking gaze , Zhou Xinlan said,
" So you mean , I should even give my life If they want it? "
" Right! , You should. So what if you are talented . In the last even your life is on the hands of the Head of Martial Clan.
Seeing the righteous looks of the four leaders , she let out a heart wrenching laugh.
Hearing her laugh , all of them shivered , as a wind of bad omen sweft through them.
Ignoring their crazily beating heart , they glared at Zhou Xinlan.
" Zhou Xinlan , Its all your fault. Even if you die today , it will be your fault.You should have given the Blood phoenix ring to Our young miss."

Zhou Xinlan crazily laughed at their tones. Tears filled her eyes as she thought about her grandfather and her family.
Glancing at the cliff , she blinked away her tears as determination filled her eyes.
Looking back at the group of people , a eerie smile let out of her lips.
A bad premonition was going to happen.
With a resentment and bitterness in her heart , she spoke loudly ,
"I , Zhou Xinlan will never kneel infront of others. I hereby promise that , Even if my soul is destroyed , I will force my reincarnation to destroy the Martial Clan."
All the people looked with astonishment and fear hearing her arrogant words.
Saying her oath , a loud laugh escaped her lips , as she gave a mocking glance towards the crowd , before running to jump down the cliff.
The four leaders face paled . They couldn't registered what happened.
After coming in their sense , they ran towards the cliff.
Standing on the edge of the cliff , they looked downwards and gasped seeing the red hot river of lava flowing.
Cursing Zhou Xinlan , all of them walked away after confirming her death. Nobody could stay alive after jumping down the cliff.
When all the people went back , the fobidden forest and the cliff once again obtained its peacefullness and serenity.
But a loud thunder sounded , and a red light flashed from the lava river and shot towards the sky like a phoenix.
But nobody saw it or even if they saw , they could have question their eyes!!!
The red phoenix shaped light spread its wings , as it zoomed swiftly towards the sky almost shaking it.
All the ferocious beasts of the Forbidden forest kneeled down as a farewell for it.
The heaven will change and the Hell will bow down in her respect. It was her destiny. The universe will be on her hand.!!!
