Chapter 1

Wow it had been a great day, it was the last day of school and all we did was play games. Now though I was on the bus home and it was freezing cold, outside the rain was pounding down. Soon, too soon I would reach my stop and say good bye to all my friends, for I would not see them for 6 weeks.
We exchanged hugs when the bus stopped and I ran straight up the road to my front door. As soon as I got in I slipped off my shoes, dumped my bag by the door and went into the kitchen to find something to eat.
"Julie, you know not to eat anything after school. Dinner will be ready soon." My Grandma said.
I knew better though, when my grandma said soon she meant hours, so I grabbed a muesli bar and said "Of course Grandma!" Because I knew better than to argue.
As I walked into my room I peeled open my muesli bar and stuffed it into my mouth as I was getting changed. When I was dry I jumped onto my bed, grabbed my computer and opened my emails. I just had to stay in contact with my friends!
2 hours flew by and what do you know dinner was FINALLY ready! Wow, the smell of lasagne smelt good as I walked into the kitchen, Grandma must have really outdone herself tonight. She must have been really excited that I had finished school!
"Julie you are finally out of that room of yours, take the plates to the table now." Grandma said.
I must say I didn't complain, it was only my grandma's and mine. My parents were in Egypt doing some historical work on the pyramids and my Grandpa seemed to spend his life in his office.
"So what did you do today Julie?" Grandma asked.
"Oh well nothing really, it was the last day of school." I replied.
My Grandma then started going on about how excited she was that the holidays had begun, and all the fun things we were going to do.
Ya, ya, ya, I was NOT excited.
Now don't get me wrong my Grandma is a lovely old lady, but when she gets talking nothing will stop her. So when I finished my food I sat up and said I needed the toilet. Of course I didn't but I HAD to get back to my emails. It was important.
As I opened the door to my room deep in thought about all the stuff I would have to do with my Grandma this holiday I bumped into a bed... But not my bed, a queen sized bed and as I looked around this wasn't my room. The walls were bare, there was no desk, and all my stuff was gone.
As I was turning around to go back out the door someone rasped out slowly,
"Julie...get..on......the bed.....quickly!"

Hello all! I hope that was ok that was just an introduction I added hopefully to make the story make more sense. I'm not the best writer, I just love reading and figured I should write something. The story should get better though I also hope the sentences weren't too long. Thanks for reading this and I'll take any feedback!
