Alyssa's POV

Whoever said new people are shy was wrong. When Nicholas sat beside me I thought I'd scared him off already but he just kept bugging me.

The dude wouldn't stop poking me and when I didn't react to that he thought it would be better to whisper.
Our teacher Ms.Lewis was cool and chill but when it came to unnecessary interruptions she became stern.

"Pssst. Pssst..." he whispered.

"Babe, come on talk to me." He continued.

"What?" I sneered annoyed.

"Do you understand what she's saying? It all seems like Spanish to me." He said innocently.

"It is Spanish you idiot!" I seethed out.

"Come on how was I supposed to know that?" He replied absent- mindedly.

"Wow, I don't know maybe I thought the big ESPAÑOL on the board would have given it away." I threw at him sarcastically.

"Aww, babe come on don't be so hard on me. It's only my first day." He said with another innocent look.

That's it.

"Quit bugging me!" I shouted disrupting the class.

"Ms. Solomon is there a problem?" Ms. Lewis asked.

"Yes, actually-" I started but was cut off.

" I asked her what bebe meant but she wouldn't tell me. Instead she shouted at me disrupting the class as well." Nicholas said and finished with a charming smile.

"Alyssa." She said in a reprimanding tone.

I just lowered my head and muttered a sorry.

"And Nicholas bebe means baby and next time you need help don't hesitate to ask me. That way you'll avoid trouble." She told him.

"Yes miss." He said politely and then snickered at me when she returned to the lesson.

For the remaining sessions I skilfully ignored Nicholas hoping he would get the idea to bug off.

When lunch time came around I purchased my lunch and joined Christina at our table.

When I noticed who was sitting beside her I immediately scowled.

"What's wrong lyssa?" Christina asked.

"What is he doing here?" I asked softly, the scowl still present on my face.

"He had nowhere to sit so I asked him if he wanted to sit here. That's cool with you right?" She replied.

I put on a fake smile and said.

"Sure, whatever." And then sat down across from her.

Unfortunately beside Nicholas.

Ugh.

After a long drawn out conversation between the two other occupants of the table I got up ready to discard my lunch.

"Where are you going?" The pest asked me.

"To throw away my lunch." I replied.

"Wait a little and sit down." He said patting the seat beside him.

"No." I told him firmly.

"Why not." He asked.

"Because I don't want to." I ground out.

"Come on, just sit." He pleaded once more.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"I said NO!"

"Just sit it won't hurt you."

"You stupid bug I said N-" I said but stopped because my leftovers had just landed in his face.

Oops.
