Boy under a spell~

Unbelievable

Friday, School morning:
It's the last day of school so as always, you wake up to the annoying sound of your alarm ringing.
You rub your eyes and slowly sit up from your bed.

"Good Morning puppy"
You say ruffling your hair.
The puppy yawns cutely and lays back down.
"Mom will get you some food and go out with you today, but don't worry i told her to not give you to anyone"

You then stand up and start getting ready for school.
Your mom knocks on your room a few moments after.
"Come in"
You yell while fixing your hair.
"Good morning Y/n"
She says entering your room~
"Morning mom"

"So, why did you tell me to not give him away"
She asked.

"Cause he's a stray dog with no owner or family"
You explain and turn around to her direction.

"How do you know?"
-mom

"He told me"
You look at the puppy

"He told you?"
She looks at you in disbelief.

"Yes! He understands what I'm saying, right bud?"

"Ruff!"
-puppy/Xin

"Hmm okay...."
-mom

"Plus some girl claimed it was her dog but she made it all up because she said that he is a girl and they named it molly"
You explain packing your bag.

"Ah...okay i get it. I won't give him away"
-mom

"Great! Thx, btw if you see anymore flyers can you take them away please?"
-Y/n

"Of course, now get to school"
-mom

"Yesss, bye mom! Bye puppy"
You wave as you walk out the room and head to school.

At school a few other students tried to convince you that it was their dog, probably because they saw him wandering around too but you didn't believe them of course.

Your classes were longer today but thank god it's finally Friday. Almost weekend~

You went home after school and went straight to the puppy. "Hey bud" you put your school stuff away*

He sat there looking out the window~
"You okay? You seem really thoughtful lately..."
You talked to him calmly

He whimpered looking at you.
You frowned and went over to per him. "If only you could talk"

Be barks a few times.
"C-can you tal- nvm I'm not even gonna ask that"

He barks again.
You get your notebook and pencil out again.
"Let's do what we did last time, one bark is no and two barks is yes"
You sit in front of him

He barks two times.

"Alright so..."
You try to think logical.

"Are you somehow magical?"
You ask hesitant

He barks two times.
You think again.

"I've been waiting so long for something interesting and magical to happen and i think this is it!"
You say exited

The puppy looks at you as if it was just listening to every word you say.

Puppy/Xinlong pov
"I think she's starting to figure something out! Maybe she can finally release me from this spell!
I really hope she gets it soon.....she seems really smart and she has quite a bit of fantasy"

"Do you have magic powers?"
You ask writing something down.

He barks once.

"Ok so no......do you have any other like human abilities except for understanding me?"

He barks twice.

Your eyes widened, you keep thinking of good and logical yes or no questions.

"Did something weird happen to you?"

He barks twice again.

"Does it have something to do with....maybe magic or abnormal?"
You ask writing more in your notebook.

He barks twice but louder this time.
You were really getting somewhere.

"Wait! I read something i-i-in a boom! And it was about spells and witches and stuff like that!!"
You nervously look for the book.

You read out a sentence from the book.
"The witch turned the human into an animal leaving only his heart,mind and ability to understand human interactions!"

The puppy starts barking repeatedly

"That's it!!"
You yell while feeling thrilling shivers go through your body.

"A-are you under a spell?"

He barks two times....

"So you are originally a human....."

He barks twice again.

"Oh my god-"
