Ashley Park-or rather-Park Haneul, sighed as she rejected the call from her ex for the umpteenth time.

"We should get you a new number soon." Her mother, Chloe Park, suggested as she watched her daughter throw her phone on the couch.

"Yeah, and how about a new life." The brown-haired teen grummbled, rubbing her face with her palms in annoyance.

Her mom clicked her tongue as an idea appeared in her head. "Actually," she started.

Haneul snapped her head towards her mom's direction in anticipation for the new idea in hopes of getting away from her hell of a life in the states.

"What mom?" She asked, beckoning for her mom to continue.

Chloe grinned. "What if you stay with your uncle this summer break?" As if Haneul had answered, her mom fished her phone from her pocket and began to punch in numbers.

Haneul's face scrunched up in confusion. "Which one?" At this point, she had gotten up from the couch and was already on her way to her mother.

"Which one, mom? Which uncle am I going to?" She asked yet again.

Chloe's phone buzzed, and her face lit up in excitement. Looking up, she grinned. "Oh well, your favorite of course."

Haneul's eyes widened as realization hit her. With a slack jaw she stuttered, "Fa-favorite? Like, like, Korea? U-uncle Jinyo-"

She didn't need to continue as her question was already answered when her mom started to bob her head.

Her face lit up in delight, and the feeling of excitement ran up and down her spine. With a huge grin on her face, she opened her arms wide and captured her mom in a loving embrace.

"But, what about you?" Haneul asked, her chin on her mother's shoulder.

Chloe sighed. "Don't worry about me. I've also got my plans." She answered. "Besides, you should be wondering about your new Youtube video."

"Oh shoot! You're right." Haneul gasped. She immediately ran upstairs to start filming and packing. "Thanks a bunch, mom! I love you!"

"See 'ya!" Haneul exclaimed towards the camera before ending the record with her palm against it's lens.

She had just finished packing her stuff for her trip to South Korea, obviously filming the whole process for her Youtube channel.

She stood up from the floor with a big content huff as she looked over her two large luggage, a duffle bag, and her mini backpack. All of those were filled with her
clothes, shoes, cameras, laptop, makeup, and other girl stuff she dares not to mention.

There was knock on her door.

Haneul turned around to see her mom leaning by the doorframe. "I booked your flight for tomorrow. Your uncle is very excited to see you." She said.

Haneul chuckled. "I'm also very excited to see him too." She said, a smile across her face. "Thanks, mom."
