Chapter 1

I just moved to a new neighborhood, there was a beautiful forest behind the row of houses in which mine was located, it seemed the perfect and peaceful place for a large family.

Since I arrived, my dog Ben spent most of the day sitting in the kitchen watching through the patio door that overlooked the great forest, the only thing that occurred to me was that he was probably watching some small animals passing by.

One afternoon, the sun was sitting, I decided to go for a walk with Ben. I was surprised to see that the street was almost completely empty, there were only two little girls playing at the end of the street in front of what I think was their house.

We continued walking until a strange sound coming from the forest was heard, Ben pulled the belt so hard that I could not hold it and ran out into the forest barking, almost at the same time, I ran shouting his name, 'Ben! Ben! Come here! 'I ran after as fast as I could, but I began to lose him easily because of the low moonlight that entered the forest among the big trees. The only thing that I could do was follow his barkings, until I heard a shriek ... a few steps away from me, my friend's lifeless body was already full, it was full of blood and with big spikes that seemed to have been made by a lion all over his body, I was terrified, I couldn't help that tears run down my face and I let my body fall to my knees in front of him but I instantly felt someone behind me.

When I turned with my eyes full of tears my body instantly froze, just behind me was that being, a shiver rhodium my entire body, trying to move was useless, that thing was not a human, it was something darker and more sinister, its body was completely black like a dark crouch in which if you fall inside you can never escape, but that was not the most chilling, it was its face, which was like a mask attached to its dark skin, it had a disturbing psychotic smile and completely blank eyes.

Suddenly I heard its chilling voice say on my ear, 'this is going to hurt but refrain from screaming, because if you dont, I will make it hurt more'.
