A Goddess And Her Maid.

Chapter 1 - The Arrival

Artemis finally arrived on Asgard, however she didn't actually seem happy about it, in fact she was emotionally tired from having to leave her friend and daughters just to help everyone else maintain order in the other worlds. She reverted back to her normal form and began to walk through the marketplace that happened to be there, she watched all sorts of creatures shopping there but she didn't really have time to stay to buy anything, at least for right now she wouldn't be able to do anything else really, or so she thought.

After a few minutes of walking she entered a meeting room where usually a few gods and goddesses; including herself, would go meet and discuss a few things either about the community, wars or stopping someone important like Hades, but when she did walk inside no one was there except for a lady who was cleaning the room of dust or anything else small like that. Artemis walked up to the girl "hey um . . . where is everyone else at . . . ?" she asked the girl who turned to her and was surprised to see the goddess be there "oh lady Artemis, my apologies if the others have not told you, but today they did not come across any problems, currently it is peaceful" she replied to her, Artemis was surprised by this since well usually there would be the casual beings who planned to attack worlds, try to conquer the universe or even attempt to invade Asgard itself, she rubs her head gently and sighs "alright, thank you for letting me know" she told the girl, right as she turns to leave the girl remembers something "oh wait Lady Artemis!" she called out to her, Artemis stopped and turned around to the girl and raised her eyebrow "Hm?" she looked at her with confusion "They wanted me to let you know that just in case anything were to happen, they would want you to stay for a few days before you can go back to earth" the girl told Artemis, Artemis was incredibly annoyed and bothered by this but sadly there was nothing else she can do about it.

Artemis nodded sadly "Alright . . . Thanks for telling me" she put a fake smile on as she walked out of the room "Fucking amazing . . . Now i have to fucking stay here for a few days just because everyone else is worried that something may happen when i'm gone . . . I guess i can't blame 'em . . . Not after what happened with Erebus . . ." she told herself as she walked away toward her large room she had so that she can rest and prepare for the next day, she got homesick, but not because she hasn't been to Asgard for while, it was because she missed her home back on earth, she missed being with her new and recent friend and her two daughters she left behind, but she wasn't worried, she was determined that her friend will keep them safe if anything were to happen to her girls.

she smiled at the thought of that which made her feel a little better with this whole thing about having to stay away for a few days knowing her friend will keep them safe, once she finally reached her room she walks inside and closed the door behind her, she grabbed her hair pin which rapidly forms into her bow and sets it on the side of the bed, even if the hair pin was from earth, it was much more convenient to have it become something small so that she wouldn't have to carry the thing on her back all day, sure it was light and all but it was still kinda better to keep it like that. She began to think to herself "maybe i should leave this thing behind, not like I really even use it . . ." she thought a bit more before nodded, she decided to leave her bow here since well with all of the powers and abilities she has, she won't necessarily really even need it. She then changes out of the clothing she wore and changed into something better to sleep in, after so she lays down and stares at the ceiling of her room ". . . I promise I will be back soon Oracle . . ." she mumbles to herself, Oracle was one of two of her daughters that wasn't really as assertive or tough as the other, she rolls over to her side and closed her eyes, soon after she falls asleep for the rest of the night.
