I maneuvered my head side to side dodging his punches. He sped them up even more using his vampire speed making them harder to keep up with. I quickly ducked and went to send a kick into his stomach, but he used his vampire speed and was behind me in an instant. He kicked me and I flew into a tree.

" Ow!" I exclaimed getting up.

" You will have to be faster than that to hit a vampire. You take a break and Jessica and I will spar." He said and I nodded. I walked over to a chair and sat down. I watched as Jessica got into a fighting stance.

By the end of the day, I was really sore. According to Aaron, once we get the moves down we can make them into our own style of fighting. We didn't get back to the house until two in the morning. Jessica and I were both exhausted. I took a hot relaxing shower for a whole hour. When I finished, I changed into some pj's and passed out.

When I woke up I could barely move a muscle without a sharp pain shooting throughout my body. I stood up and pushed the pain to the side. I began to try and walk to the bathroom. I opened the door and stripped. Turning on hot water, I jumped in. My muscles instantly relaxed. I let the water loosen up my muscles and work out some of the pain. When I finished my shower, the pain had lessoned by at least half. Sighing, I quickly dried off and snapped my fingers. Instantly, I had on a pair of black shorts with a red half shirt that showed off my belly and my shoes. I walked down to the kitchen and ate some breakfast.

" Hey Kat." Linda said walking in.

" Hey." I muttered sitting down.

" You okay?" She questioned.

" Yea, just a little sore from yesterday's training." I answered. A little bit my ass! I hurt like hell!

" I have something for that." She said opening a cabinet. She looked through it before tossing me a vial. I caught it and looked it over. " Drink some of that and you will be back to normal." I nodded and drank some of it. My body stopped hurting and I felt brand new. I smiled and put the lid back on it. I put it back up and went upstairs to wake everyone up. Almost everyone was sore, except for Amy. We all ate some breakfast and met up outside. It was the same routine as yesterday. I followed Aaron as he took us to the training spot.

" Today you will have to run a lot. You will need to be able to keep up with a vampire even though you aren't one. Since you are witches this should be pretty easy. When you are running use your magic and focus it at your feet. Make sure you're not trying to teleport. We'll start off at a little bit of a slower pace until you get the hang of it, and then when it starts to become second nature we'll go all out." He explained and we nodded in understanding. We began running as fast we possibly could and tried using our magic. It caused us to land on our asses or face plant into the ground multiple times. After three hours we began to get the hang of it.

When we began to match his speed he would speed up. I see why they like running this fast. It's pretty fun. I jumped over obstacles and maneuvered through the trees. After another hour of running like that we went back to hand to hand combat. Learning to run that fast made it easier to dodge and keep up with his movements. When the sun began to set he stopped.

" We're stopping training early today. We thought it would be nice to give you all a little break for working so hard. Adelia and Emily are going to take you out for ice cream here in an hour or so. That gives us enough time to get back to the house and for you two to get cleaned up." He said and we nodded. We quickly walked back to the house and cleaned up. I changed into a pair of black jeans and a blue half shirt. When everyone was ready we piled into Emily's van. Emily drove us into town to the ice cream parlor and I prayed that no one we knew would be there.
