Freeze [Levi/Eren]

A phone call like any other: 2

    I got home around 5 that day. I fell into bed and laid myself out. I had some homework that I could put off till tomorrow, and I still needed to call Mikasa.

My computer was calling me but I was too lazy to get up. So I just kinda laid there for 5 minutes. I took a deep breath and forced myself up.

I stumbled to the kitchen to get a glass of water, my stomach then rumbled but I ignored it for now in favor of loging onto the internet. I sat down and kind of lost myself for an hour maybe 2, probably more. When I stud up from my desk a card fell from my pocket. It was the one Levi gave me. I picked it up and stared at it, debating what I should do.

    I took a deep breath and grabbed my phone, what was the worse that could happen? I nervously dialed the number, and could feel my heart pounding with every ring.

"Hello, Levi speaking."

There it was again, I was breathing underwater.

"Hello, it's umm... Eren from earlier,"

Maybe I shouldn't have called maybe this was a horrible idea. I should just apologize and hang up.

"Oh, Yes Eren. I was hoping you would call. I take it that you're interested then?"

"Interested in what exactly?"

I heard him chuckle on the line.

"In me of course. You know what, Why don't I treat you to dinner Saturday night Eren? Afterwards you decide if you want this to continue."

I needed like a minute to register what he just said. He wanted a date with me? This successful person wanted to spend time with a college kid on an all ramen diet.

"Eren?"

"Sorry I just couldn't believe you just asked me out. If you'll have me then dinner with you sounds really nice."

"How cute, good and now I have your number. I'll text you later so until then keep thinking about me Eren."

The call ended and I put my phone on my desk. I flapped down on my bed, cuddled my pillow and I couldn't help the smile that followed.

"You have a date Eren! With who?"

I was at school having lunch with Armin like I usually do on Thursday's.

"Some guy comes into the store, hits on me, completely ignores Jean and gives me his number. Turns out he's a fashion designer and asks me out for Saturday."

I was trying to cram all the important stuff into a few sentences.

"That's so cool, so this guy what do you know about him, do you know how old he is?"

"I know his name is Levi he's a fashion designer and he's pretty attractive. But that's the point of the date, to get to know each other."

Armin nodded, laughing at me. We were in the school cafe, it's so nice and warm in here especially with the snow outside. It's not snowing heavily but it's been snowing for a few days now. I love the winter, I really enjoy when it's cold cause when summer hits I beg for even the slightest breeze of cool air.

"I'm really happy for you Eren it's been awhile since you've dated or had a boyfriend, so I really hope this works out for you."

I smiled, then started to laugh, "Thanks Armin. So what about you, how's things with Erwin?"

Armin's been dating some guy with mega-brows for a few months now. I met him a few times but his eyebrows never cease to amaze me.

"Erwin and I are great. Maybe we could double date sometime?"

"Armin let's not get ahead of ourselves. I have to get through the first date before anything else."

I looked at my phone to check the time, my next class was starting in 10 minutes I should get going. But then my phone vibrated in my hand. It was a text from... Levi!

I didn't want to look at it yet so I turned off my screen.

"I gotta head to my next class Armin, I'll see you later."

"Bye Eren."

I got up and walked out of the cafe. I fixed my scarf around my neck as the cold air hit me and turned my cheeks red. This was a huge campus so I would need all 10 minutes to get to class. While I was halfway to class I decided to read Levi's text.

Hello Eren, I hope you're having a lovely day. I'm very much looking forward to Saturday, can't wait to see you. -Levi
