Always wondered, why Han stayed so calm in that situation?

Han never thought of himself as a force sensetive person. Good lord, no he often even forgot about the fact that everyone in his family could feel it, except for him.
But for some reason he felt something now. A pull, that lead him through the ruins, the wounded people on the ground, ignoring the fighting around him and the spaceships flying near to the ground. His feet came to a halt as soon as he saw him. A tall, dark figure with a covered head. Han was unable to see the face or anything recognizable else of that person but he knew exactly who that was. It wasn't something about the appearance but it was a feeling the elder man had. He just knew with, with full certanity. He saw his son.
Many years had passed since the last time he saw Ben. That Leia and him lost their son to the dark side.
He stared at his son when he realized something else. He held someone in his arms. A slim person with light clothes, which Han would have recognized anywhere. Rey. He'd got her.
But... For some reason Han was relieved. He wasn't afraid for that girl. Because somehow he knew that even though his son had changed through the years, he wouldn't harm her. It wasn't because she was a girl but because of who she was, how she behaved.
Han knew that his son would have liked her back in the days when he was with his family and he was pretty sure that his sons chances not to like this girl, were pretty bad. She would nerve him out, that was for sure, but just as Han couldn't do anything else but like her, his son wouldn't be able to refuse that girls fierce stubbornness.
"Good luck with her, son.", Han muttered, as the ramp of the spaceship closed and cutted the slight connection he had felt.
