Prologue: Getting Ready for Work

Mark Edward Fischbach just got a job working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzaria. The job offer was short notice, and, admittedly, a little sketchy, but the pay was good and Mark needed the money.

"Just so you know," he remembers the manager that hired him say after assuring that the job was Mark's and the impromptu interview that had taken place moments before was entirely a formality, "there will be someone else with you in there at night."

"Who?" Mark had asked.

"His name is M/N."

"Alright, but why is he-" Mark was cut off.

"Well, that should be everything that won't be covered your first night. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to work. Have a nice day, Mark."

Mark sighed remembering how he was just brushed off like that. Wasn't the place supposed to be super creepy at night or something? That was why no one else would take the job, right? So why would this man willingly spend his nights there?

Mark shrugged if this train of thought and focused on his reflection. Shortly after the interview, he was given his uniform, which he now wore proudly. Well, as proudly as you could for a job that seemed more confusing and mysterious the more you learned about it. Sighing, he ran his fingers through his hair one last time to make sure it was presentable before making his way out to his car and driving to the restaurant.

So, little snip bit on the new book! Honestly, I got so excited that right after I posted the chapter asking if people wanted this, I almost immediately started writing it. It's a little different than other stuff I've posted. Usually it's almost if not all in the reader's POV, but this one's probably mostly gonna be Mark's.
