first off thank you to all my followers to my first completed book. It has hit more than 10,000 reads now, so thank you very much. With that said I will give y'all the first chapter of this new book. Please enjoy.
The story picks up 6 months after the first battle.
We find our heron at the beginning of the 2 school year, popular but not really paying much attention. Charles the headmaster and Kevin have been very worried about her health, both mental and physical.
Christina's pov:
"Hey Christina, you in there?" Someone asked while waving a hand in front of my face.
"Huh, yea sorry what were you saying?"
"hey Christina, both me and the headmaster has been worried for a while now about you... whats going on? is there anything you need help with?" asked Kevin
"nnno... why do you ask?" I said
" Well, you have been very distracted after the last battle, you have been very popular but it seems like you havent been intrusted in whats around you... you have been lost in thought since then and we have been worried."
"Im ok, i promise. its a lot that is happening right now all at once. one we havent cought the guy that was in charged with this last battle. also there is something that I havent told yall but i want to handle it right now by myself. if I need help I will ask ok?" i said
"ok just as long as you know we are here for ya... you dont have to do everything yourself."
I just smiled back to him and walked back down the hall way on my way back to hurcules. Hes been very clinging lately and I want to know whats up. its like i cant go anywhere without him making sure that no one touches me, like im fragle and i dont like it one bit. I know my brother is behind everything but that dosnt mean that Im going to break and cry my heart out. I gave up on my brother along time ago. in fact I thought he was dead when he left at the age of 13. so finding him now and being evil is no big deal.
"Where are you, big lizzard?"
"playing with the hatchlings... why? you sound angry, is everything ok? did someone upset you? it was a guy right ... let me at them."
GGGRRRRRR
"NO, im ok I was wanting to be with you for a little bit. and Im not angry Im just fustrated. everyone is always asking if Im ok since the battle. if its just you and me, im ok but this, It seems like people are expecting me to fail .I just dont like it."
"I understand what you are saying. I have been worried for you as well but I know what you are feeling so I havent asked. you know if you need someone to talk to you can always talk to me. just saying." hurcles said
"I know I thank you for letting me handle this on my own. you are an amazing friend and family. I nkkow they mean well but I dont have to like it." I sighed
"When it comes to your family, you can hadle anything, but it dose take its toll on you if you dont talk about it." hurcle commented
"Ok, I understand. it dosent mean I like it" after I said that I started to leave without hercules but he started to fallow me.
as we both were walkin around, we were just quietly enjoying our time together. as we were enjoying our walk we were heading for the forest were we had found that there was a beautifull lake that had the best landscape and best place to find quiteness.
we arived finally at the lake and proceded to set on the rock over looking the beauty of the lake. it dosnt take long before I was relaxing as well as having hercules laying next to me by the rock, sound asleep or at least the way it looked like. I closed my eyes and just listend to the nature that was around me.
I think eventually I fell asleep, cause as soon as I opened my eyes again, the sky was dark and the amazing stars were out. It was so peaceful that I didnt want to leave. it wasnt till I think about another hour before I had gotten hercules and myself up and heading back to school. as we were walking back through the dark, when I started to notice there was a light that shouldnt be around in this deep of the forest. hercule also notice this as well and started to growl a little toward it. I looked back at hercule and then toward the light when I made the decision of looking into what it was.
you know the whole ... curiostiy killed the cat.... well I had a little to much for my life sometimes on cruisoity. I always seem to get into more trouble then I am worth, or at least that is what hercules always tells me. well anyways as we crept towards the misterious light, it was getting brighter were we were. we got to a big boulder and relize the light was coming from the other side of it. I looked to hercule and he looked to me and nodded. I nodded back and took a deep breath and decided to walk around the boulder.
what I found made me speachless. it was a field of blue night flowers. it was sooo amazing that I never wanted to leave it, but I knew that both me and hercule would get into major trouble as it was now due to it being dark and that we were well sought out by the enemy. As is I know we are going to get a tong lashing.

So me and Hercule both left the field knowing we both will be back as soon as we could. it wasnt long before we were back at the school. as soon as we got to the edge of the forest were our school was, we were cought unaware of what was going on. it looked like the whole school was in an uproar. I looked to hercule and he just shruged his shoulders. so he didnt know and I defently didnt know what was going on. if we were under attack I would have known and came here derectly, but it seemed like we were, there was people running around with their heads cut off looking for something. while the younger students were trying to figure out what was happening. After what seemed like at least 20 mins of watching this I decided to come out of the forest and demamed what the heck was happening.
"
What the hell is going on? Why are you all running around with your heads cut off? your not making a good inprestion for the new students that have recently come to school!" I yelled at them to get their attachine
"What the heck, Chrsitine were have you and hercule been?" Kevin said from the front entranse of the school.
"We were in the forest, on a walk and lost all track of time. whats going on?" i replide back
"Well come over here and we'll talk about it. everyone thank you for looking for them, yall my return to the dorms." he said.
Oh great here comes the tong lashing that were going to get. I thought to hercule.
as we went into the school, kevin turned toward me and said the words I wasnt looking foward to hearing...
"Your brother made contact with us. He wants you." he said.
