Kim Taehyung was a normal college boy who lived a normal college life. Or at least, that's what everyone thought.
Even Park Jimin. Park Jimin was a kind boy, very kind. So much to a point where it was scary. He was genuinely nice to everyone and anyone around him, except Kim Taehyung.
That bothered his friends and family, because they had to go through the college life together. Why couldn't he be close to him? Jimin always extended a hand of friendship no matter what the other party did to them, so why was he bothered by Kim Taehyung?
One look at Kim Taehyung and he rejected ever going near him. His friends were confused but they knew better than to question.
Park Jimin was nice to everyone so it was quite rare for him to show hatred or rejection towards someone. So, they let him be, for the time being.
Kim Taehyung had no friends so there was no one to question his decisions and his so-called family couldn't care less about him. Both of them were average students, the sole reason they could escape the teacher's eye. Neither of them had a reason to hate the other. They just did.
He hated him. He genuinely hated him.
Jimin was walking along the sidewalk completely minding his own business.
Kim Taehyung, who was walking opposite him, did the same. They didn't know they were walking on the same sidewalk. Park Jimn was humming his sweet melody as for Kim Taehyung, he was busy with his phone. But when he heard the oh-so familiar tune his head shot up and his eyes darkened.
Park Jimin felt the shivers run down his spine, he stopped humming and opened his eyes only to be met by a pair of dark brown orbs that were filled with annoyance. Park Jimin furrowed his brows as he walked up to him, Kim Taehyung did the same. But his face was expressionless; it held a bit of mockery and Park Jimin didn't like it.
Park Jimin looked up to the tall slender boy and Kim Taehyung looked down to the slim fragile boy. They both looked each other with utter hatred. Nobody knew what triggered such malice, not even them. But they were sure they didn't like each other.
And the feeling was, fortunately for them, mutual."I hate you." Park Jimin said with all the anger he could manage through his gritted teeth and soft voice. He couldn't make his voice rough and intimidating as Kim Taehyung could. But he didn't envy him, not one bit.
Kim Taehyung smirked satisfactorily and said, "My, the feelings mutual." After he said that both of them parted ways and prayed God to never to see each other again.
They loathed each other. They didn't know why and they didn't have enough patience for the other to find out. On or off campus, they never spared each other a word of greeting Let alone a proper goodbye on their graduation despite being in the same class and taking the same course.
Jimin's friends were worried and through the entire college life, they tried their best for Jimin to communicate with Kim Taehyung. Of course, both of them straight up refused.
Days turned into months and months into years. They didn't see each other after their graduation. Jimin was relieved that he didn't have to deal with that Satan anymore, so was Taehyung; he was exceedingly relieved. But his comfort was short lived.
As for Jimin, being the kind-hearted person he was, got the fruit of his labour. Not long after, Park Jimin had forgotten about Kim Taehyung and so did Kim Taehyung about Park Jimin. Until that fateful day.
