The restaurant in which they had decided to meet was overly crowded, Yoongi noted, taking in a whiff of the diner. Scents of other alphas, omegas, and betas mixed together, filling his nose along with the overpowering scent of bacon grease. Waiters and Waitresses moved from table to table, cups and plates whizzing around dangerously.

Rubbing his sweaty palms on his jeans, he searched for his soon to be roommate, his eyes moving back and forth across the room until they locked onto the orange haired boy. Jimin sat at a booth in the back half of the building, head already buried in a menu. His soft orange hair covered by a beanie and his tiny body clad in an outfit that was easy on the eyes. He looked up for a moment, eyes searching the shop the same ways Yoongi's had, and for a second their eyes met, a kind smile playing onto either one of the boys faces.

Yoongi took this as a sign to move, stepping past some waiters and dodging a few tables in order to make his way over to the younger. He was conscious of every step he took, smoothing down his shirt as he eventually stood in front of the younger boy.

Going to speak, Yoongi opened his mouth when suddenly an overwhelming collection of scents filled his mouth and curled up his nose. Vanilla, linen, a warm homey scent that had a bite to it that made Yoongi shiver. It was so undeniably omega.

Still gaping, Yoongi's eyes moved to meet Jimin's, the recently discovered omegas eyes were blown wide and the older male could only assume that his own, smokey-flower scent had thrown him off as well.

"Um..." Jimin's face turned red. "You can um... sit down..." He was desperately trying to look past the fact that his new roommate was going to be an alpha, and also tried to look past the fact that Jin knew that he was an alpha.

"Right- right." He slid into the seat across from Jimin, the booth suddenly feeling a lot smaller than it had looked, he reached over and grabbed a menu. An air of awkwardness surrounded them as Yoongi read through his burger choice, silently praying that this was all a dream, or even a miss understanding.

"So um..." Jimin closed his menu. "Do you eat here often?"

"You're an omega." Yoongi deadpanned, slamming his menu shut and ignoring Jimin's question. His head raised with questions and he could feel his own smell radiating a distressed aura. He didn't mind that Jimin was an omega, but Jimin probably wasn't comfortable living with an alpha, especially if he shared views with his best friend.

"Yeah..." Jimin shrunk into his seat. "Is that a problem?"

Yoongi rose a brow at the shy yet defensive behavior and shrugged, picking at the edge of his menu as a waitress with mugs of coffee ran past them.

"Is- is it?" the alpha asked, "It doesn't bother me, the omegas opinion in this situation is more important."

"Oh, no, no! It's fine, really!" Jimin sat up, waving his hands lightly. "It doesn't bother me, no."

"No scent allergies? I don't- I mean I guess that's something we should have talked more about." Yoongi sighed, burying his face into his hands, "God, I'm sorry Jimin. If I had known- Jin never mentioned it so I assumed you were a beta!"

"I'm sorry, I mean, i'm okay with it, I guess, I just- are you okay with it? I mean, you seem nice and all... so I mean..." Jimin sighed. "If you don't want to move in, that's okay."

"I'm not sure if you're implying that me being nice made you assume I wasn't an alpha or if I'm too nice for you to mind that I'm an alpha. Either way I want to move in, I'll leave for your heats and my rutts, I just- was really looking forward to moving in with you and away from Jin and Joon" Yoongi rambled, running his hands across his jeans again. A nervous tick.

"You still can, I really don't mind."

Yoongi huffed, looking at the boy. The way his tongue poked out of his mouth a bit, and how he bit at the inside of his cheek. Eyes big, hands clenching the hem of his sweater, Jimin was the embodiment of an omega. Tiny, bulky but skinny all around. He was fit, but his genetics only allowed for so much muscle. The omega sat hunched over, but body straight, a relaxed confidence and he looked like the kind of person who would reach out for human affection, whine for it.

Yoongi decided at lot of things in that moment, thoughts ranging from him thinking that Jimin was cute to his decision to like the color of the oversized sweater the boy wore. Most importantly though, he decided that, in that moment, there was no one else he'd rather move in with. A rash choice, with no backing, but one Yoongi knew he was going to stand by.

"Good, now," He said, smiling softly at the boy, "Lets order? "
