those stars that disappeared....

chapter 1

      shuichi felt live slip from his body as he hit the concrete below. his pain was immeasurable, but then the pain subsided. 'wha......what?' he thought.

       he felt the slow agony slipping away. he opened his eyes to be surrounded by.....stars!?

    a  figure approached him carefully.

       "listen closely, shuichi saihara. you have died, and now it is time for you to move onto another realm. this realm will cause much more pain then the life you just left, but you will stick through it. you may even see a much familiar face. keep that person safe, however, and your new life will be much better than your first." the figure rambled.

      shuichi was panicking, breaths coming out as short gasps. "i'm.....being reincarnated?" he asked, just before darkness took over his vision.

     shuichi finally felt himself waking up in a very dark place. he looked around for any source of light, even from his hair, but there was none. he got a glimpse of himself just before he felt himself falling again. his hair was now a raven blue, with no stars in it. he had a hat on, that didn't look like his hat from before.

    he felt pain as his body greeted the light. his head throbbed, and his body ached from being in a cramped space.

     "hello? who are you?" a sweet voice came from above him. shuichi looked up to find kaede, with very different clothes. he had heard that kaede had a twin sister, so he just thought it was kaede's twin sister. "h....hello. m-my name is..s shuichi saihara. i'm the u-ultimate detective." he stuttered. 'what? what the fuck is a ultimate detective?' he thought to himself.
