Endeavor's POV

Shoto and (y/n)'s wedding was... beautiful. As it overlook the ocean with the sun nearly setting, it sent out this beautiful sight. I couldn't help but smile when they both said their vows. How they promised to be with each other... forever. I couldn't help but look back at Rei. She sat there, watching our son being officially married. It's not to my surprise that... well... she knew far in advance of Shoto's personal life.

I sighed heavily, shaking my head and I continued to look forward through this whole wedding.

Soon enough, everyone was getting prepared for dinner. All Might was even invited to this wedding. Not to my surprise, it seem that Shoto only wanted a few people involved. Mostly, his acquaintances from Class 1-A. That was basically it. Well... (y/n)'s family was also involved. Some of her friends were also there.

I stopped Shoto from going back to (y/n), and I pulled him to the side. "Shoto..."

He looked at me, crossing his arms. "What is it this time?"

"I just wanted to congratulate you again. I'm proud of you."

Shoto chuckled, leaning against a nearby tree. He looks at me, running his hand through his hair. It's been so long since I've seen him like that... smiling and chuckling. "Thanks... and... (y/n) doesn't mind me telling you this as well. I'm gonna tell Mom in a few... so... I also want to congratulate you."

My head tilted a bit as I stared at him. He kept this smirk on his face. "Congratulate me on what? I haven't done anything-"

"I know. But... we did. Just wanted to say congratulation, Grandpa Todoroki."

My fists began to ball up when I heard that. An insult? "What do you mean by that? You trying to roughen me up on your big day?" I opened my mouth to demand a proper answer... but Shoto continued to give me this... this look. It suddenly hit me. "Grand... pa...?"

Shoto nodded and smiled. "Be at least proud to be a grandfather now. If you don't try to force out baby to do anything, you're welcome to treat him as your grandchild. Oh, and keep it low, will you? I don't want (y/n) to be bombarded with lots of questions about our baby."

I nodded, smiling softly. "Thank you, Shoto."

"It's not much... but... I'm still angry about what you've done to us- to me. I don't want my child to go through what we've went through. How we're going to raise our child wouldn't be what you've done. We're gonna raise the child to be whatever they want to be. If they want to be a hero like us two, I wouldn't mind it at all. (y/n) and I will try our best to raise them however we feel fit. Again, you can be a grandfather to the child."

"Shoto..."

"What?"

My hand rested on his shoulder as I smiled softly. "You'll be a great father. That... that I know for sure. Treat (y/n) well... because I know you will. Fatherhood is quite difficult to handle, and if you need advice, talk to me."

Shoto shrugged it off a bit. "Not sure on what to say about that. You did raise all of us to be a have perfected Quirk. I'm not doing that here. I don't care if our kid has a bad Quirk or a good Quirk. Perfected or not. Ice, fire, water, or something else. I don't care. Our child is our child. I'll love them no matter what. Respect that."

"I do respect it."

"Just... don't do anything to brainwash our kid like that. If (y/n) or I feel that you're pressuring our kid to be a hero... we will stop you from seeing your grandchild."

I chuckled a bit, nodding my head. "That's fine."

"Enji..." The wedding was coming to a close when Rei came up next to me. I smiled softly, waving at her. "Shoto came to me earlier about me being a grandmother. Did he tell you the same?"

"We're gonna be grandparents now."

Rei smiled softly, tapping my shoulder gently. "I'm glad that he's living his own life. Just look at him. How do you feel about being a grandfather?"

"Old." I confessed, chuckling a bit. "I'm not even that old. But hearing I'll be a grandfather now... it just makes me old. Though, I won't retire yet. Now that our family's been grown more... Fuyumi and Natsuo might be having their own children. Shoto may be the only one having a child... but I need to be cautious."

"Maybe... you need to calm down, Enji." Rei says, smiling softly. "You're acting paranoid. Shoto's a good hero- and be proud of him. Trust in him to protect his children and (y/n) as well. Just trust him, will you? You always had some trust issues..."

"That's not true."

"If it's not true... then trust Shoto."

I nodded my head, sighing softly. "Okay then. And Rei...?" Rei looked at me with a curious look in her eyes. "It's nice to see you again, Rei."

She smiled softly, walking away back to Shoto and (y/n). Now... I was a grandfather...
