Raven's POV
Right now I'm wearing my wedding gown. It is very simple and not revealing. I'm not wearing any makeup also. It's my natural look and my hairstyle it is very simple. Balot na balot ako sa suot ko.
Eeeerrrccckkkkkk ( door opening )
"Miss Raven" Glenda's voice.
"Hi" I greet but I'm still facing the mirror.
"Miss Raven, ang ganda niyo po sobra" i looked at her.
"Miss Raven wala po itong halong bola ha. Ang ganda niyo po talaga kahit walang bahid na makeup. Kayo lang po talaga ang nakita kong bride na walang bahid ng makeup, simple hairstyle at very simple wedding gown." Paghangang sabi niya sa akin.
I smile at her. "Thank You Glenda" she smiled at me. Bumuntong hininga ako.
"Glenda, can I ask you?"
"Oo naman po, ano po iyon?"
"Have you seen the grandson of the owner of this hotel?"
Umiling siya. "Walang ni isa sa amin ang nakakita sa apo ni Mr. Hawkins dahil di naman siya nagpupunta rito. Pag may mga article naman po walang picture niya. Pag may event naman po walang nakakakita sa kanya dahil wala naman nakakilala sa kanya. Wala naman kaming makita na kasama ni Mr. Hawkins aside sa mga bodyguards niya."
"Yeah, I also tried to search about him but I can't get any info."
"Wag po kayong mag alala Miss Raven malakas ang kutob ko na mabuting tao ang apo ni Mr. Hawkins dahil mabuting tao si Mr. Hawkins kaya walang duda na mabuting tao rin ang apo niya." I just smiled at him.
"Thanks for making me feel better Glenda."
"Uso po talaga sa mga mayaman ang arrange marriage po ano?" Napangiti ako ng bahagya sa tanong niya.
"Well, sort of ,but the others term for arrange marriage is just business right?. But this marriage, this is not a business. This is a promise of a two bestfriends and now their fulfilling it." Binigyan niya ako ng nakakatakang tingin.
"You look confused" tumango siya.
"Kasi po Miss Raven. Ano po ang promise na yun? Na makasal kayu sa isat isa? Ay wag nalang po hehhe."
"No, it is okey. As you know Glenda. In Taiwan, I have no friends. I only have yeye and the driver and our trusted maids. It's hard to be RAVEN XIANG. I need to hide and protect myself from the people rushing on me"
"I only hope that one day. I'll be out and not to hide myself."
"Magulo po pala ang buhay pag mayaman?" Tumango ako.
" Yes, I'm rich but I can't go anywhere I want you know because I'm a XIANG."
"Eh Miss Raven. Yung sa promise po?"
" About the promise? Yeye said that his doing this because for my own good. It just suck hearing from yeye that, if he'll died, he'll die with no worries because I'm now married and he knows the guy I'm marrying at and he want someone to take care of me. It sucks because he also told me that the guy I'm marrying is were a same page."
"Uhm...Takot lang po siguro sila na maiwan kayong mag isa. Marinig ko po kasi na pareho kayong only child. Nanigurado lang po sila dahil narin po siguro sa muntikan ng may mangyari kay Mr. Hawkins---"
