Chapter 1: What Lies Within

I've been having such weird thoughts lately. Like. Is any of this for real? Or not...?

As Zero touched down into the darkness, he looked around with a frightened look. He had Sora next to him though, so he knew everything would okay for the time being. Sora took a step forward, and the darkness slowly creeped away, revealing a glass panel with a beatiful woman on the floor. She had an apple in her possession. Then a voice began to speak. Zero knew he didn't just hear it, as Sora seemed to be responding to it as well. The voice said these words...

So much to do,

                                                          So little time....

Take  your time,

                                                                                                                       Don't be afraid.

                                            The door is still shut.

Now, step forward. You can do this, yes?

Sora slowly walked forward and Zero was frozen in place with a worried expression plastered upon it. He held up his hand and revealed his palms, in an attempt to tell Sora to stop. But Sora paid him no mind. Sora looked back at Zero, and waved for him to come closer. Zero withdrew his shaky hands into his midnight black hoodie and slowly walked forward. When Zero was finally next to Sora, pedastols began to rise from the panel. Zero quivered in fear, but Sora put his hand on his shoulder, comforting him.

                                Power sleeps within you.

If you give it form....

                                                                                       It will give you strength.

Sora seemed to gravitate towards the blade, and as he made his way to said pedastol, Zero watched suspiciously. He looked around at the staff and the shield, the other two options. The wand didn't quite seem to do him justice, and through process of elimination, Zero stumbled over to the shield. He grasped it tightly, and tilted his head as the voice resumed speaking...

                                                                                                      Kindness to aid friends.

                        A shield to repel all.

Zero nodded, and the shield proceeded to dissapear. The voice continued to speak, but what he said wasn't very calming.
