Chapter 1

"If you EVER try that shit again, I'll be even worse next time! Capisce?" I heard Harry Styles say. Harry Styles,my bully.

"OK" I managed to mutter while trying to catch my breath and get things back in synch.

"Good"  said as he kicked my leg one last time before he left.

I sat in the alley for about five minutes until I realised what else can happen in a dark alley as the sun started to set. I started toward my house which was about five minutes away. On the way I kept on thinking.

Why me? Why does Harry have to beat the shit out of me everyday while his friends stand around and watch. No matter how many times I replayed those same questions in my head, I couldn't figure out what I did to make Harry treat me like this.

We used to be so happy. The best of friends. The cutest couple that made everyone else jealous. The inseparable.

"I loved you yesterday. I loved you today. And I'll love you tomorrow and for the rest of our lives" Harry promised me as he held me in his arms while we watched the sun set on the beach about 10 minutes away from our houses.

"So do I and so will I" I replied while kissing him. We stayed that way until it became too cold and too dark to stay on the beach. We headed home and we said our goodbyes. I watched as he pulled out of my driveway and pulled up next door to his house.I  smiled once again as I opened my front door and step inside, closing and locking the door behind me.

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing.It was an unknown number.

“Hello?” I asked in a sleepy voice.

“Hey slut!” a voice said from the other end.

The voice sounded very familiar.

“Who is this?”

“Aw, don’t know my name love?”

“H-Harry?” I said and feared for the worst.

“Right on the nose!”

I hung up the phone quickly and immediately regretted it when I received a text message a minute later.

Stupid move Bitch! See ya at school!

I forced myself to get up out of bed.

I got in the shower and turned it to the hottest water possible.I let the water hit my bruises and cuts even though it hurt.

I dried off and made my way to my walk in closet.

I decided to wear a white ruffled top with some khaki knee-length shorts with my white sandals.

I added my favorite black necklace that I had gotten from California when my family visited there last summer.

It had the word 'Believe” I added some white bracelets.I put my long blonde hair in a high ponytail with a white hair tie.

I added my usual amount of make-up,grabbed my backpack,and white Iphone and headed downstairs.

I walked into the kitchen and saw my mom,dad,and brother sitting down at the table."Morning"I said as

I grabbed my favorite coffee cup from the cabinet."Good Morning Libby"they said as they continued to eat.I poured myself a cup of coffee.Then I added sugar and cream and stirred it up.I tasted it.I almost throw up.I added a LOt of more sugar.Now it tasted better."I'd better go.I don't want to be late"I said as I kissed my mom and dad on the check and left.

I hesitated before I walked into the building.It was 7:55 and that meant that I had five minutes until the first bell rang.I was hopeing that I wouldn't see Harry.My phone vibrated signaling that I had a new metion on twitter.

 

@HarryStyles:@LibbyLovesTOMS I see you running from me...turn around.

 

My heart stopped.

 

I thought that he was joking at first but how would he know that I was running?!

 

I finally made it to my homeroom class with 3 minutes to spare.

 

I took out my notebook and pen and got ready for the morning announcements.

 

"You guys can sit wherever you want today"I heard Ms.Monroé say,which cause many people to switch seats.

 

There was only three seats left.One next to Jamie "Snotty Nose Girl" McGee,One next to Joseph "To Smart for Everyone" Williams,and one,since I was sitting on the edge,to the left of me.

 

Of course Harry,who came in 5 minutes late,choose to sit next to me.

"Hi Libby"Harry said trying to sound innocent.I just stared at him."

“I said: Hi Libby"!"Harry repeated with his fist clenched.

"Hi Harry."

"Mr.Styles,why are you late for first period?"Ms.Monroe asked.

"I lost track of time?"Harry said.

"Haaaa!Doing what??!!"someone yelled out,which caused a chorus of laughs.

Harry just winked as the intercom came on with the morning announcements.

After homeroom I had Algebra...with Harry.Luckily we sat on opposite sides of the classroom.

I walked in the classroom and took out my homework from the previous night.I was really really smart and I always made good grades.So did Harry.

"Good Morning class" I heard Mr.Smith,our math teacher,say "Please take out your homework and pass it forward while I take roll"

He had called Harry's name over and over again.

"I don't think he's here right now,Mr.Smith" I finally spoke up as Harry walked in.

"Mr.Styles,please tell me why you're late"Mr.Smith said.
