Victoria's Diary

Chapter 2

Dear diary,

I gasped at what I saw, my dad pale white not breathing and eyes open with his pupils smaller than usual.

"WHAT DID YOU DO KYLE?!" I screamed at him, "I THOUGHT YOU ONLY DRANK ANIMALS!!!"

"I'm so, so, so sorry Vikki, I haven't hunted in 2 weeks and I really didnt want to leave your side for one second, he came up to see how you were doing and he went to stroke your hair and then he passed out, cutting himself on the knife laying on your bedside table", he told me "I'm so sorry, I havent hunted for 2 weeks I-"

"Shut-up!" I interrupted him, "I don't care what you did anymore, I only care that you hurt him but.. Since you said he had passed out I guess he didn't feel anything"

"I'm so sor-" he started to apologize again but I interrupted him with a dirty look, "do you want to go hunting?" he asked me, excitedly.

"Umm.. Sure" I couldn't dissapoint a face like that, a beautiful, handsome face... Oops sorry I'm getting carried away, but diary, if you saw him I swear you would get sidetracked. Besides my throat was burning!!

*Half an hour later*

I had just finished my third mountain lion and Kyle was finishing his eighth (Wow he sure was thirsty!) when I saw something out the corner of my eye, something that my dull human eyes would of missed...

One of the most beautiful vampires that I had ever seen was standing right in front of me, he had blazing red eyes and short pale blond hair... He was perfect in every way, apart from the red eyes. They had gone a darker red than mine, but they were still bright.

"Hello" Kyle said to the the handsome stranger, "who are you" he had asked the question I was dying to know.

"My name is Nickelous and I am looking for my older brother, James have you happened to see any vampires around? Ones with red eyes" He questioned us but there was something in his face that made me think that his question was only for Kyle. But I answered him anyway.

"No I'm sorry but we will keep a lookout" and then I watched his face fall, poor guy I thought to myself.

"Can he stay with us while he looks for his brother?" I asked Kyle "Pleeeeaaasssseeeeee" and I did my puppy dog eyes that he loved so much, I hope they have the same effect as they did when I was human.

"Finee" He smiled and then I knew that they had the same effect, and that he loved me. How could I betray him like that, thinking that another vampire was hotter than my soulmate, I knew that if I could still cry I would be right now, but I had to be strong so that I didn't raise suspicion.

"You could stay with us while you are looking for him" I told Nickelous, "we don't mind"

But as I said that I noticed something in Kyles eyes, suspicion and jealousy.

"Thank-you for your generous offer but I'm sorry I couldn't possibly, my partner and I are staying in her old house while looking for him, I couldn't possibly desert her and baby that we addopted" he explained, "but thanks anyway."

And then he left..

"Oh no Kyle I'm so sorry!! I forgot you could read my mind. There is nobody else for me, you are the one!!" I exclaimed

"Thanks Vic, I'm so sure you won't go kissing other guys behind my back" he said sarcastically and then walked away.

(I'm sorry it's short diary, but I feel really upset by what Kyle said, I will rite again tomorrow)
