Stenbrough + Reddie one shots

The losers are in the clubhouse playing truth or dare.

"Richie truth or dare?" Bev asks.

"Dare of course." Richie says smugly.

"I dare you to..." Bev looked around the circle of boys smirking. "I dare you to kiss Eddie."

Eddie blushes and Richie smirks trying to hide his own blush.

Richie looks over at Eddie who is sitting on his left.

Richie kisses him softly and to his surprise Eddie kisses back.

After exactly five seconds, yes they counted, Richie pulled away.

The game continued for about another half hour or so.

"I have to go." Mike says looking at the digital clock the losers put in their clubhouse.

"So do I." Bev says sighing.

"I'll walk you back." Ben says being the usual gentle man he is.

"We'll go too." Bill says gesturing to him and Stan since they're supposed to go to Bill's house to have a sleepover.

After the five of them leave it's just Richie and Eddie left in the small space.

Eddie looked everywhere except for Richie.

There was a silence for awhile.

"How do you feel about me?" Eddie asks just above a whisper.

"What?" Richie asks and Eddie looks up at him with glossy brown eyes.

"How do you feel about me?" Eddie asks a little louder.

"Eds we're friends, best friends." Richie says with a smile assuming that's what the smaller boy wants to hear.

"Richie why can't you just say you love me?" Eddie asks as tears fill his eyes. "I just want you to love me." He whispers.

Richie grabs the smaller boy's face and kisses him. Eddie kisses back as a single tear slips out of his right eye. Richie pulls away and wipes his tear.

"I do love you Eds, how could I not?" Richie says.

Eddie tackled Richie in a hug.

"I love you so much." Eddie says making Richie smile that goofy smile of his.

"I love you too." The taller boy says.
