~Katie's Point of view
I woke up to the sounds of the mocking-jays flying to District 11. I crawled out of bed and walked out to the living room to see Katniss up and ready.
'Why you up so early Katie?" Katniss ask
"Ah Katniss the mocking-jays woke me up." I replied.
"Oh well I'm gonna go hunting with Gale. Bye" Katniss says just before she leaves.
Hm What shall I do? I decide to go hunting. I get dressed and i'm just about to go but I hear this little voice saying "Where you going Katie?"
"Prim, I'm going hunting." I say
"Alright, but be careful. Promise?" Prim ask
"I Promise." I said before I headed out.
Then I left. I headed for the woods, once i got there I heard this russel, So i climbed a tree to see a birds eye view. I saw a deer coming. I got my bow out and a arrow and I pulled my arrow back and...... BULLZEYE! I got it! I got down and I went over to the deer but i saw another arrow in the deer. Then I heard a shout
"GET AWAY FROM MY DEER!!!" Katniss shouted
"Katniss?" I said.
"Katie?" She replied.
"Yes!" I said
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"I kinda felt like hunting...." I said
"you wern't trying to stalk me and Gale... right?"
"Yes Kat. You can keep the deer. I'm gonna shoot some squirrels and take them to the Hob." I said before I left. Hmm where was Gale? Woundn't he help her? I thougt to my self while I was looking for squirrels.

I went to the Hob after getting 4 squirrels.
When I was trading them something caught my eye. There were a 2 mockingjay pins and a mockingjay pendant.
"How much for these?" I said while pointing at them.
"Just take them." She said.
And So I did. Then I walked home. Katniss and Prim were all ready dressed for the reaping.So I just walked to my room and then got into a blue dress. Then I walked back out to Katniss and Prim.
"Guys I have a gift for you." I said
"Really" Prim asked.
I gave them the Pins and I put the pendant around my neck.
"Pretty. Thanks Katie." She said, then she hugged me.
"Your welcome." I replied.
"This will keep you protected." I said.
The the sirens went off. Katniss mouthed a thank you to me. Then we walked there and then Prim stopped.
"Iv'e got this Katie." Katniss said.
I nodded and then got into line.
"Next!" The lady said.
I walked up and gave her my finger. Then she pricked ait so the blood would come out of my finger. Then she took my finger and put it on paper.
"NEXT!" She said
So I left to go to my section. Then Effie Trinket walked on stage.
"WELCOME WELCOME! TO THE ANNUAL 74 hunger games reping, I have a WONDERFUL video to show you." Effie said

The video wasn't wonderful at all.
"Now time for the reaping. And remember! This year has 3 tributes!" Effie said while putting her hand in the bowl.
She picked three names. I looked for Prim and Katniss. Found them. If one of them get picked I am volunteering for them. She is about to read the names..... Oh god......
"Katniss Everdeen!" Effie said. But before I could volunteer she read the next name.
"Primrose Everdeen!" She said. WHAT? I NEED TO VOLUNTEER NOW. But to late. She called out the next name..................
"Katie Everdeen."
