"Come here..." Sinenyasan ko ang boyfriend ko na lumapit sa'kin.

"Alright." Lumapit siya, of course. At tulad ko, naupo rin siya sa damuhan.

We're here at the memorial park because I wanted to talk to Mommy. Alam kong kahit wala na siya ay maririnig niya pa rin ang mga sasabihin ko ngayon.

"Hi, Mom!" Masayang sabi ko. "I am so sorry, ngayon lang ulit ako nakadalaw dito..."

There's the wind again, chatting with me—as if it's mommy's spirit sent from above for me to feel her presence.

"There were so many revelations about everything, Mommy. Good thing tapos na ang lahat ng iyon..." Tinangay ng hangin ang buhok ko kaya mabilis 'yong tinali ni William. I don't know how he was able to do that without a scrunchie.

Napangiti ako.

"Mommy, nga pala... he's William." Nangingiti pa rin ako. "He's my boyfriend, probably the last one."

"Hi... 'Ma."

Tinaasan ko ng kilay ang katabi ko. "Wow! Ang lakas maka-mama. Feeling close?"

"Saang banda ako naging feeling close? Ang magulang mo ay magulang ko na rin."

"Sige na nga." I pinched his cheeks. Hinarap ko ulit si Mommy. "But seriously, I miss you, Mommy. Ang daming nangyari rito. Siguro, kung nandito ka pa rin... ipagtatanggol mo ako against all of them."

I bit my lip. Feeling ko ay maiiyak na naman ako.

Hindi ko na mabilang kung ilang beses kong hiniling na sana... makabalik siya beside me even as a ghost. I won't mind. As long as I can talk to her again... feel her again... wala na akong pakialam.

I am incomplete without her.

Hinaplos ko ang lapida niya. Tumayo ako.

"I'm gonna... take care of her. That's a promise." Tumayo na rin ang boyfriend ko.

Inalalayan ako ni William papasok ng kotse. Wala naman talaga akong balak magtagal dito. I just wanna visit Mom for my last step.

I snatched my phone from my bag before I dialed Zyra's number.

"Hello, Zyra?"

"Miss! Mabuti naman at ligtas ka!"

I smiled. "Thanks for the concern. Anyway, can you... schedule a live interview? Papunta na ako riyan sa FCL. You're there, right?"

"Yup. And about your favor, I'll... do it. You're trending, Miss! Dinudumog nga kami rito last time because of you!"

"Thanks, Zyra."

"Welcome, Miss."

Matapos iyon ay mabilis kaming nakarating sa building ng FCL. Hanggang sa pag-akyat ay kasama ko si William. He's just... always there for me.
