"Baby! I'm so sorry" I choked out between sobs "I'm so sorry".
"Save it Grace, your just another lowlife" he snarled "I don't know how anyone but me could love you, you can't leave me because I'm the only one who could EVER love someone like you" Ryan spat.
It sent shivers down my spine, not in the delightful way but out of fear. I could still feel his hot breath on the side of my face. Was Ryan the only man who would ever love me? Besides my friends and family, but what if Ryan was the best I ever got? No he can't be I deserve more. I turned my face to the ground before he cupped it with his hands.
He was staring straight into my eyes "Grace baby, you know I love you" one of his many reoccurring lines I didn't buy. "You know I do just behave next time we go out?" I wanted to scream, tell him the guy at the bar wasn't looking at me and even if I got a second glance I wasn't interested, but that would only result in more trouble.
This had been going on for way too long, the drawer in my room full of concealer to cover my bruises was proof enough. I have to find a way out, I've got to.
