All humans have pure white blood but when you meet your soul mate you find out a devisating secret.

You were born November 17th into this cruel world. You were bullied all your life because you always had pure white blood not hint of red. Apperantly it was cool to have a little bit of red blood. Even your bestfrined had a little red blood here and there. It was kinda like a social hirachy type thing. White bloods were at the very bottom and dark blood was at the top. But they always got in trouble and you wanted no part in that.

Y/n: mom I'm going out with Kim for our checkup.
Mom: should you be hanging with someone who has red blood.
flash back to freshman year
Y/n:kim I'm going to go check out meet me in the car
Kim: ok I'm right behind you.
Ding
Kim checks her phone it's from her mom: sweety don't forget bread it's 4.99
Kim: shit I was gonna use the extra money for myself.
Kim had a bag of chips and a soda in hand. She had left the rest of her money at home. She puts the soda and chips in her bag and goes to pay for the bread.
Y/n: you ready to go
Kim: uh yea
Flash back over
Y/n: when are you gonna let that go
Mom: she's a thief!
Y/n: whatever you say
You walk out the door thinking about what happened. What some people like my mom fail to understand is that it's a lot more temptation when your a kid. You finally meet up with Kim.

Kim: lemme guess your mom was lecturing you about how I have red blood and that I'm a criminal.
Y/n: you know it
You guys walk down to the police station for your monthly check up. Every month you have to go to the police station and they prick you to dee the color of your blood. Some people go and some don't but you do because it was a law and if you broke the law your blood would get slightly darker.

Doc: Kim your blood is at level two.
Kim: I know I know I missed last months check up.
Here there are levels 10 is the highest and worst level.
Doc: ahh y/n I see your still pure white
Y/n: you know it
Doc: now off to school you go and Kim stay out of trouble
Kim: yea yea
Now you guys are off to school.

The way the classes are arranged is by what level your blood is at. Pures and level fives are together. Then level sixes and up are together. You were starting a new school year so this was your opportunity for a good first impression. You did have a couple friends who were level sixes and higher but you barely saw them because they were either in detention or jail.

You go to class and you have assigned seats you were seated by a boy named derektrendz. The teacher starts teaching and about 10 min later Derek walks in.
Teacher: Mr trendz your late
Derek: I know sorry
You guys were taking notes so you lean over and let him borrow your notes
Y/n: uh we were just covering some really important topic about WW2 so I thought you might wanna use my notes.
Derek: thanks
He says with a smile.

You got to the rest of your classes then soon approaches lunch time. At lunch itd basically segregated levels 0-5 would usually sit together then 6-10 were together. After lunch you go to the rest of your classes then you go to Kim's house to study.
Kim: I saw you flirting with that boy who sits across from you.
Y/n: was I flirting I was just tryna let him use my notes.
Kim: do you like him
Y/n: he's cute

Kim: you like him don't you
Y/n: shut up.
After you guys study you head home
Y/n: whers dad
Mom: uh he went on a work trip dinner is in the oven
Y/n:your mom was acting mad weird but you just assumed she was stressed and you eat you head to bed. Not prepared for what your gonna have to face tomorrow
