Normal au
Every day you'd sit down in the same seat, making sure to have the best view of the raven haired males friend. You'd wait and wait until you two wouldn't finally click and one day it finally happened, but not the you wanted.
"Hide-Kun, where are you?"
Your voice was close to non existent, the only thing keeping you alive was the fact you were a ghoul and your strong desire to see your beloved one last time before finally letting go. You couldn't move even if you tried to, your legs were being crushed by the fallen structure and it was too heavy for you to lift.
"Hide-Kun..."
You dragged your face on the ragged concrete and you used the last of your energy in hopes of getting out but there was no hope left for you. Breathing started to become a problem and your hand relaxed, you were no longer digging your nails into the ground and your eyes went back to its original brown colour.
Hide was still nowhere to be seen and it hurt more than everything that was currently happening to your body. You felt so betrayed that the feeling managed to slip a few tears.
You saw a pair of shoes in front of you, but when the person crouched down to your eye level you could no longer hear the words they were speaking, but the desperation on their face told you all you needed to know.
"So you did make it back to me after all, Hideyoshi."
Your vision slowly faded and a feeling of relief washed over you as you rose from the ground.
You crouched next to Hide who was shaking the body next to him, placing a hand on his shoulder. Tears wouldn't stop leaving his eyes as he begged and begged for you to open your eyes but he failed to realise you were right next to him, watching him call for you only to get no response from the corpse on the ground.
A genuine smile appeared on your face and you embraced his shaking body in a warm hug.
"Thank you."

"Y/n! Y/n goddammit say something!" He shouted in desperation.
A small breeze went past his shoulder as he watched the body of his newly dead friend become cold while he sobbed on his own.
His hand grazed your cheek, sending another chill through his body, getting enveloped in the cold air around him.
"I'm sorry."
