Soren pov

Chapter 8

After about a half an hour, we leave the terrifying aquarium and go to the carnival. Luke pushes open the door, and the whole roof is open, like it's outside but with walls.
There were people rushing back and forth everywhere. One accidently pushes me onto my feet.
    "Soren-" Lunar yells.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to!" A girl with pastel green hair puts out her hand. She helps me up onto my feat.
"No, sorry. My bad. I wasn't looking where I was going, really." I apologized to make her feel better. She smiled at me.
"I have to go find my group. Sorry!" She slowly fades away in the giant crowd. Everyone rushed over to me. "Soren, are you alright?" Hikari asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. . ." We keep trying to get through the crowd, when we finally get to the games. We started playing them. By the end of it Lunar was carrying at least three giant stuffed animals. I was very proud of what I'd won. It was an even bigger and fluffier version of my fluf- Very cool stuffed animal. I've never found one of them before! Hikari had a giant dragon stuffed animal. It had to be twice the size of my um . . . very cool stuffed animal. I think Luke didn't want any stuffed animals. He just had a bunch of weird little toys and gadgets.
After that, we went to the contest section. It was an obstacle course. Hikari and Lunar wanted to join, but I didn't. So everyone made me carry all the stuffed animals during the contest. In the end, they ended up tying and both got a trophy. Great! One more thing for me to carry. Hikari would have easily won but, no magic. I frowned at them. We also got a bunch of snacks. I don't know how they do it, but they just keep getting better and better.

    This place is so cool, and there's still so much we didn't do yet! While we're sitting down eating our snacks, I feed some of it to Cloud. I wanted her to appreciate the good food too. The downfall of doing that. I had a whole army of birds begging me for food then. I got another piece of cake, took a bite so the people making it wouldn't get mad, and fed it to the birds. I think they started fighting over it, pulling it away from each other and cawing frantically to get the cake. That's why I got everyone to leave at that moment. They'd be after me again in no time.
    "Run for it! We have to lose the birds!" I laughed and everyone followed me. We go back to the place with all the tunnels. Then we went to the carnival rides. We run down another pitch black tunnel, which opens up into another "outside" place at the end.
    "What do we go on first?" Soren asked. We all turned to each other. There were so many rides there.
    "What about," Luke paused to think "That?" Luke pointed upwards. We all looked up to see where he was pointing to. Right as we do, a roller coaster whips by. "The Fire-Breathing Dragon!" He smiled.
    It had to be the biggest ride there. It couldn't be any worse than flying, right? Soren looked shocked along with Lunar.
    "Perfect, let's go!" I agree.
    "No!" Lunar screamed. I laughed at them both.
    "Come on, I'm sure that you'll both be fine! It won't kill you." I said, pushing them forward toward the ride. Lunar screamed loudly at us.
