Just as I was walking into my driveway, I heard a noise. There she is. Firejax, Iceshard, get ready.
I whipped around. "Who said that?"
"Hey Brianna, are you all right?"
In front of me stood Blake. "Oh, uh, yeah. I'm fine." I mumbled. Just hearing things!
He stared at me for a few moments. "Okay. Well, Evie and I are going to watch a movie tonight and we were wondering if you wanted to hang out with us tonight."
"Oh! Sure I guess."
"Okay, I'll pick you up at 7:00!" He winked at me and turned around.
Good work Firejax. I looked around in surprise. No one saw there. Was I going insane? Then I turned and opened the door to the quiet house. Sighing, I walked slowly up the stairs, and made my way to my room to do homework.

After I finished, it was almost 6. Just as I was about to flop on my bed, I noticed something. Something was moving in my parents' former bedroom! I picked up a heavy school book: A poor excuse for a weapon. Then quietly, I snuck down the hallway as stealthily as I could. Then I got a good look at the person. It took all my worth not to scream in horror. Unfortunately, I was so terrified, my book landed with a loud thud. The man, or should he even be called that, whipped around in surprise. He laughed evilly. "Well now, Brianna. I'm no harm to you, don't be scared."
No harm?! All my mother and father's possessions was gone, and the room was destroyed. Crushed. Burned. And the maniac said he was no harm?
"Did you do all this?" I asked. Great. Just great. Of course he did! Have I got clouds for a brain?
He snorted. "Of course I did."
"Then you are harmful to me," I answered, eyes narrowed.
"So be it."
Then suddenly, his skin the had had cracks glowed a sinister red. His eight arms grew spikes and his legs turned into that of a mechanical bug's. His face contorted and within a few seconds, had been completely covered by eyes. He advanced towards me, eyes glinting with a desire to kill.
That's when I screamed. I felt my eyelids flutter a couple times before I fell into darkness.
A/N: Oh noes! Brianna is in trouble! She fainted and there's a mutant with her who seems to be evil. What do you think the mutant will do to her? Is there any hope?
