I Can't Love Him (A Garrence ff)

ch. 1

Garroth's P.O.V

Beebeep beebeep I hear the sound of my alarm and hit snooze. First day of school already ugh well guess I should get up. I groggily get out of bed and put of my school uniform. As i'm admiring my golden locks in the mirror I start to hear ruckes from downstairs. I walk down and smell mommy's delicious blueberry pancakes. That's when i'm broke from my food trance. "Vylad that's my hairbrush" Zane yelled in his usual angry but high pitched voice "so just let me use it I can't find mine" Vylad pleaded "what is going on here" I say trying to stop the fighting coming from my younger brothers "Well Vylad is using my hair brush" Zane wined "Its only for today I'll look for mine after school" Vylad say's trying to reason with Zane but he's not having any of it and starts yelling again "Ok ok stop fighting Vylad just use mine and Zane stop being a drama queen" I say trying again to stop the fight this time succeeding "Fine whatever and i'm not a drama queen" Zane scruffs walking into the kitchen greeting our parents. "Thanks Garroth your the best" Vylad say's "I know I am" I say then go to the kitchen "Good morning Gar Gar your breakfast is at the table" My Mother says in her cheery voice "Thanks mommy" I sit down at my usual seat at the table. When I take a bite it melts in my mouth "Amazing as always" I praise then Vylad walks in taking a seat at the table and eating after being greeted. "So Garroth what are your plans today" My Father asks looking up form the news paper he was reading " Well i'm going to pick up Laurence on my way to school and we might do something afterwards it's up to him" I say finishing up the last of my breakfast "Yes Laurence a fine boy you guys hang out alot don't you" He say's "Well yah were best friends" I say then feeling slight sadness but why. I quickly ignore it at my dads next words "well yes of course you'r not some disgusting gay" my Father say's not even looking at me as he's reading some section of the paper "Of course not" I'm used to this talk from him though I don't understand what's so bad. I then get up to clean my plate off. "oh shoot" I look at the time and see I have to go "Bye mommy" I hug my mother and kiss her on the cheek "Bye Dad" I grab my bag and put my hand on the door knob when I here "Wait gar gar here's some lunch and some snacks if you stay out after school" She say's giving me the bag "Thanks mommy love you bye" I then  walk out the door. As i'm walking down the side walk i feel my phone vibrate I pull it out and see a message from Laurence

Sassy princess: Hey i'm almost ready 

Stutter king: Cool i"m on my way now 

I shut off my phone looking up to see Laurence's House close in the distance. 

Laurence's P.O.V

I'm sitting at the table eating breakfast eggs and toast with my dad and Cadenza talking about the ordinary "Hey you got your lunch packed and everything ready" My dad ask's "yah I got it all" I say "Okay ill start the car in a few" He informs "Oh i'm walking to school with Garroth" I say "So I don't have to get ready cool" he chuckles "Hey i'm still here and do need a ride" Cadenza my older sister cut's in "Aww man I thought id get to relax a bit more before work" my dad jokes "Nope" she say's we all laugh. After that we were just chating then I got a message from Garroth saying he's outside. "Well it's time for me to leave"I say and give my dad and sis a hug "don't make out to much you still gotta get to school on time" I hear Cadenza yell and her and my dad laughing. I'm used to their jokes they started a little while after me and Garroth got really close. I mean they say he was all I would talk about but I don't remember it that way. When I first moved here I did't have any friends it was in 8th grade. I didn't really have any friends before ether really. So I was super nervous I had planned to change when I moved here too and Garroth really helped me and I feel like i'v really accomplished that. 

Flash Back

"Oh No oh No" I say rushing down the halls of my new middle school. I can't believe i'm late and lost on my first day. "uuuuughh" I yell out loud in frustration when I hear a calm voice "H-hey do you need help" he says I spin around to see a boy with golden blond hair and enchanting baby blue eyes "oh thank god can you please help me find this class" I show him my schedule "uh-uhhh yah sure" He takes is and as he looks over it I look over him. He has fair pale skin and I can't help but wonder how soft it is. Wait what am I saying ughh must be from not being around someone that I can potentially get to know and become friends with. "sooooo" I say " oh heh y-yah I know where it is f-follow me" he says I laugh at his nervousness "ok thanks I thought I was a gonner what's your name" I ask "Garroth" He says "Hi Garroth i'm Laurence" 

Present time

I walk out the door and see him standing on the side walk scrolling through his phone. "Hey stutter prince" It's the nickname I gave him soon after we met due to the way he stutters when he's nervous. "Oh hey" he looks up and smiles "What you doing" I ask looking curiously down at his phone "Nothing just bored waiting for the slowest person in existence" He jokes "whaa I didn't ever take that long" I say in defense  "Mhmm sure" he say's "whatever lets go" with that we start walking to the school.
