Hands are Hidden

Chapter 1: The First Time

Everyone went down stairs after the show. It was an amazing night! The show was sold out and no one forgot their lines or fell. It was definitely the best show ever. "We need to go make your toys!" Megan called up the kids that didn't want them to leave. They were all elves, except for KK, Cat, Danielle and Jessie. KK and Cat we're the Light Twins: Mary and Judith. Danielle was Stacey Stabler, the Workshop Stowaway. Jessie was just a prop girl, but still a best friend. As soon as they were in the dressing room, KK said "They think we're making their toys? Bitch, we're going to Subway!" They all agreed and quickly changed into their clothes. They all grabbed their phones and money and rushed out the door. Jessie went and told the director they were going out and he told them to be back by 4;30 for the 5:30 show. It was 3:45, so they had plenty of time. They exited the theater and everyone was outside except for Danielle.

"Hey guys," Olive said, "Do you wanna see the sexiest school ID ever?" Everyone laughed and above the laughter, a few girls were able to say "Sure" or "Yeah!". Olive pulled out here wallet and removed a small plastic card. The card had a small picture and some words next to it. Olive held the picture out to everyone so they could see. As soon as they laid eyes on the card, they burst out laughing. That's when Danielle came out. She had a puzzled look on her face.

"What's so funny?" she asked. Everyone began to laugh again.

"What?" she demanded "Tell me!" Everyone kept laughing and headed to Subway.

KK lead the way and unfortunately, took them on a wrong turn so they ended up taking twice as long as needed to get to Subway. As soon as they were there, they ordered and sat down. The table across from them had 3 chairs, but only 1 was occupied. It had a boy, no older than 15, sitting in it. He was very hunched over and had on a black sweatshirt with Jack Skellington on it. He was talking to himself and making strange hand motions. Theo even said that when she walked by, she heard him say "I'm gonna do it. I am. I am!" Anne said he heard him say "Kill" Anne was also a generally loud person, but she was able to contain herself at the word "kill".

"Let's go to 'Frozen Twists' when we're done guys, okay?" Anne asked. Everyone agreed, but the boy heard her say 'Frozen Twists'. He got up and left. Guess where he went? 'Frozen Twists'. He ran outside and J-Walked through the middle of the street to get there.

"Oh, guys," Danielle said, "He just went into 'Frozen Twists.'"

KK groaned. "Should we still go?"

They all decided that they would go because it was a busy time and it would be very hard to kidnapped or kill someone without being noticed. So, they grabbed their sandwiches and headed over to 'Frozen Twists'.

When they got inside, the strange boy was sitting at a table next to the door. The girls quickly grabbed their yogurt and sat down. They were all whispering about the boy.

"I feel like he's going to pull out a gun and shoot us all." Olive said.

"Yeah, me too." Anne agreed, "I just don't wanna die. And plus, we still have some more shows to do!" Everyone laughed.

"But, why do you think he went into 'Frozen Twists'?" Cat said, "It's as if he had known we were coming here!"

Jessie looked at Anne. "Well," she started off, "Anne is pretty loud. Maybe he heard us." Everyone agreed with that. Even Anne!

Just as Jessie said that, the boy got up. "Omigod" Theo screamed/whispered, "I just want you guys to know that I love you all and you are my best friends. I don't know what I would do without you guys. I love you."

Theo must have thought the boy was coming over to them. Lucky for them, he wasn't, he was just going to the door. KK and Anne got SO scared. They quickly rushed to the outside and went back to the theater with Cat and Jessie. This time, Jessie was leading so they took the right turn and got back quickly. KK and Anne rushed through the door and ran to Shelly, KK's mom, who was also in the show with the girls. She played Mrs. Claus.

"Oh my god, you two." Shelly said. "What did you do?" KK and Anne were panting and when talking, they took over each other's sentences.

"We saw this guy who-" Anne began.

"was VERY sketchy and-" KK continued.

It continued like this until the two girls explained to Shelly about how they saw the boy and what he was saying and how crazy he was and how he had followed them into 'Frozen Twists' and everything.

"Well," Shelly said. "Did he follow you here?"

"No." KK said.

"Well then, your fine. You'll probably never see him again." Shelly assured them. "Now, go downstairs and get ready. The show's in an hour and a half."

KK and Anne rushed down stairs and finished their sandwiches. By this time, their yogurt was melted, so they had wasted $3.50 on it. Oh well. Once they were done, they got dressed and re-applied their makeup. KK, Anne and Jessie talked until everyone else got back.

"Where'd you go!?" Theo asked them.

"We were taking pictures." Danielle added.

"We just wanted to get away from the creepy guy." KK explained.

"Whatever." Theo answered. "That's so 30 minutes ago."

"Yeah, yeah." Anne responded. "Just get ready." So they did. As they were getting dressed, they continued talking.

"I'm gonna flip if that dude is in the audience today." Anne said.

Theo was obviously over it because, again, she answered "Come on, Anne! Grow up! It's not like he's stalking us! That is SOO 40 minutes ago!"

Anne just groaned and added another layer of blush to keep from talking to Theo.
