It was sprinkling rain when we got outside, and Olivia looked uneasily up at the sky, blinking rapidly to keep the small drops from going in her eyes. She looked down and pulled the hood of her coat over her head.
"We need a car." She said, looking at me pointedly, her eyes bright from under the shadows of her hood.
I shrugged. "No we don't. Its only a kilometre or two away."
She glared at me and walked off. I sighed and jogged to catch up.
"A kilometre or two carrying a child isn't going to be fun, Tim." She said quietly. Her coat was spotted with dark drops.
I rubbed her back. "Okay. I'll just get a new job that pays more so we can get a car." My tone was sarcastic, and I instantly regretted it.
"Oh. Sorry. Fine. Whatever." She threw her hands up and stopped walking. Her cheeks were wet, and I couldn't tell if they were tears or rain. "I didn't want this child. I still don't!"
I kept walking, biting my lip. I did want this child. I didn't know if I wanted the whole process, though.
I heard Olivia sobbing behind me, but since the apartment was only 50metres behind, I left her.
