Chapter 23

"This is gorgeous" Levy gasped looking around the island. 

"Welcome to Caracole resort, name under reservation?" a woman approached us holding a tablet. 

"Lisanna Strauss" She said in a very bored tone. 

"Okay and I'm guessing you're Lucy and Levy?" she said looking over at Levy and I. "Okay, they will be taking your bags to your room and I will show you around" she pointed at two men with a cart walking in our direction. "So over here is the entrance to the main building, there's multiple other entrances like the one to the beach and the pool. Down that road is an oasis and a hot spring. If you have any questions find me, I'll bring you to your room now." she pointed in various directions before walking towards the entrance. She led us down the hall, brought us up to the top floor, led us down another hall and a few turns and there we were. "here are your keys. enjoy your stay" she smiled before walking off. 

"Luce you do the honors" Lis said handing me a card. 

I swiped the card in the door and the light flashed green. I pushed the door open and gasped. it was gorgeous, everything was different shades of white and blue, there was a balcony and four different doors. I'm assuming one of those four is the bathroom. When you first walk in there's a kitchen, and a living room with glass sliding doors and a balcony on the other side of the doors. our suitcases were placed in the center of the room neatly stacked. 

"Well what are you waiting for?" Levy smiled pushing me inside. "I can't believe we are going to be here for two weeks" 

"I call the biggest room" I said grabbing my suitcase and walking to one of the doors. 

"Whatever you want, I just want to go to the beach." Lis said following my actions. 

"This is the best trip ever, thank you so much Lis" Levy squealed popping her head out of her room. 

"It really is amazing" I said smiling at her.

"Of course, what are friends for" she smiled walking into her room "Also everyone has to experience Caracole's private island at least once" she said from inside the room.

We spent the day tanning and relaxing on the beach. 

"Who are these people? I thought it was just for celebrities" Levy asked looking around sitting up  slightly from the lounger. 

"The rich, like people that just have an absurd amount of money." Lis said 

For another 10 minutes we sat in silence as we enjoyed the sun. "Lis? Can I ask you something?" I asked pushing my glasses into my hair.

"Shoot" she said repeating my actions turning her head towards me.

"What, um what happened with you and Natsu? Like was it serious? Were you in love? should I be worried?" I blurted out "I'm sorry I just, I need to know"

"And I'll be in the water" Levy said dropping her hat and sunglasses onto her lounger walking off.

"No, you shouldn't be worried. It wasn't serious in the way you're thinking, and no, we were not in love but we do love each other" she said smiling "We actually weren't even dating, it was all just for publicity" 

"Wait I'm sorry you weren't dating? He made this whole big thing acting as if you were the only person he loved or whatever and you weren't even dating?" I said my eyes popping out of my head. "I was so nervous when I saw you at the event like terrified, then you took me to the bathroom and talked to me"

"Right, it's just that he never brings anyone to these things. He rarely even goes himself but bringing someone is a completely different story with him, so I wanted to talk to you see why he liked you. I'm sorry if I scared you"

"You love each other?" I asked not wanting an answer.

"We grew up together, Mira and I are his only friends we love each other. All three of us." she sighed. "He's like a brother to me, him and his sister are basically my family" I nodded absorbing the information she just told me.  

"So are you guys good? I really hope our trip isn't cut short on the first day" Levy said wiping the wet sand off her legs with a towel.

"We're good" I sighed putting my glasses back on.

"I am exhausted" Levy sang falling face first onto the couch. 

"So go to your room" Lis laughed going to the bar and fixing herself a drink.

"I think I'll head in as well" I yawned walking towards my room dropping my bag and towel in front of the door. 

"Fine goodnight party poopers" Lis sighed clicking the tv on.

"Night" I smiled opening my door and heading in for the night "What the hell?" I practically screamed looking at the person lying on my bed. 

"I couldn't go another day without seeing you" he said standing up and walking over to placing a hand on my cheek. 

"What are you doing here?" I asked my eyes looking all over his face.

"I spent almost a month without you and I can't spend another two weeks without you" he placed a kiss on the corner of my mouth.

"How'd you get in?" I asked as he placed kisses on my jaw and my neck. 

"I'm Natsu Dragneel, what'd you expect" he smirked before kissing my lips.
