"Mother.." Valor whispered later that night. She said again, but this time louder, "Mother?!"
"Yes, Valor? What is it?" Kristal stumbled into the room, her hair in a flurry. "Is there a spider or something?"
"I can't sleep," she murmured.
"Do you want me to make you some Coche?" Kristal asked. Valor nodded slightly. Kristal headed to the kitchen and took out a mug. She then filled the mug with hot water and took out some herbs. She grounded the herbs with a mortar and added some purple honey, then poured it into the hot water. She stirred the mixture and carried the coche to Valor. She sipped at it.
"Mmmm... tastes like lavender..." Valor immediately fell asleep. I hope I didn't add too much prispana, Kristal thought a little worried. If I did, she might be asleep longer than I would want her to be.
"Night, hon," she said softly as she pulled up the sheets. She then exited the room quietly.
Valor had weird dreams that night. Fish floating. Cows swimming. Her mind was boggled. She felt like she was spinning in circles.
"Come with me..." said a voice. She breathed heavily, and Valor's feet moved without command. She followed the voice, walking blindly. The voice sounded peaceful and soothing, like something to wrap you in love and affection.
"We want you, Valor..." said another voice, more calming than the last, but a bit eerier. "Come to us..."

Valor shot awake and gasped. She looked around the room panicking and saw Tobi quietly snoring next to her. Her heart rate slowed down, and she started to breathe slowly, and calmly. She relaxed her head onto her pillow. It's just a dream, she told herself. It's nothing to get all worked up about.
Tobi woke up. "Huh? Is it morning already?" Valor nodded slowly. Tobi stretched and yawned. "Did you have strange dreams?"
"Yeah. Fish were flying. Maybe it was the tea?" Valor thought out loud. She walked into the kitchen. Valor watched each footstep by the other with ease.
"Mom?" she called out. The chef handed Valor's mother a plate full of toast and scrambled eggs which she gave to Valor, then her sister. The smell wafted into the air and into Valor's nose.
"Yes hon?" she replied with a smile. "Did the tea work?"
"A little too well... er- does the tea have strange side effects?" her daughter yawned as she stuck a spoonful of eggs followed by a large bite of toast in her mouth. Kristal got out the box.
"Drinkers may seem sleepy after drinking. Do not drink all of it. Side effects include drowsiness, strange dreams and or temporary hallucinations, and cavindar," she read straight from the box and set it down on the coffee table. "...Whoops."
"Well that explains a lot," Valor mumbled.
"Do we HAVE to go to school today, Mom?" Tobi asked, rubbing her eyes. Kristal nodded.
"Yep! You better hurry, the bus is coming in ten minutes!" Kristal patted Tobi on the head gently as she groaned. She then kissed both of them goodbye on the cheek.

As Tobi ran toward the school bus, something felt off about it. It had the same paint, good. Same driver, okay. The kids though, it felt like someone new was there. She could sense... chakra. The school bus lurched to a stop and opened its door as Tobi and Valor stepped on. Row after row, each kid stared at her but smiled gently. Finally, she came to Artemis.
