My eyes are closed but I still see
An eye appearing back at me
Still enough to be a painting
But far enough to miss my reach
The sky black and clouded above
A tunnel forms and out comes a dove
He's as big as a lion
And as intense as love
He carries a golden key in his mouth
And begins to travel down south
I do not cower or blink
I stare fearlessly as he soars
Traveling behind were glistening lights
He stops beside me and nudges me to accept his flight
I pull myself up onto his back
Tightly I grip as he speeds toward the eye
Still I do not question where this will lead
I accept the path that was given to me
As we grew closer and closer, roaring sounds grew louder
Still fear has not hit me
Flashes of color spewing all around
The world becomes intensely shaky and will not calm down
Into the iris we travel through
And what i saw, i did not question if true
No longer was I on the dove,
But was floating on nothing of
Surrounded by darkness, it seemed I was alone
But i knew it wasn't true
I swam through the nothingness to search for what I do not know
I couldn't tell if i were going fast or slow
I called out to what was hiding
But my voice was silenced
Up and down
I look all around
Finally I spotted the key
I grip it tightly within my palm
I feel a force try to pull it away
A monstrous creature forms but still i stay
He lets out a loud grumbling sound
And yanks even more
I tell him to join me on my travels

His eyes become soft and he no longer polls
He still grips my arm as we float along
Behind him was a door
I insert the key and out comes sound of roars
Opening the door, i see a world full of life
More monstrous creatures, and gray bark winding up to the sky
It was the most beautiful sight I've seen
The sky had a hue of green
Every flower was bigger than me
And the creatures were at least over 8 feet
He still gripped onto my arm
I knew he'd cause no harm
He lead me deeper into the world
I never want to open my eyes
