~Valentine's Day~

Bakugou's pov

    Finally some silence. Away from those shitheads and their stupid games. Kiri and Denki decided to play spin the bottle along with the rest of the Bakusqaud for Valentine's day, but their was no way in hell I was gonna play with them. So I decided to go to the mall instead and get some food. But then I saw IcyHot walking the same direction as me. You gotta be fucking kidding me...

Todoroki's pov

    I really don't feel like going home now- or ever. Not when my stupid father makes me train every time I go there. Even on Valentine's Day I don't get a break. So maybe a trip to the mall is what I need to calm down. And maybe while I'm there I can find a place to eat. As I turn the corner, I notice a familiar ash-blond male in the distance. Bakugou- He seems to be going the same direction I am. Maybe I'll join him.

No-one's pov

   As Todoroki started walking towards Bakugou, he couldn't help but wonder why he was alone. Huh, I thought he would be with the Bakusquad... He thought to himself. "Hey Bakugou.." Todoroki said as he approached Bakugou. An annoyed grunt escaped Bakugou as he walked past Todoroki. "Fuck off IcyHot. I don't want to see you." he said while walking away. Bakugou usually got grumpy when he was hungry. Looks like he's in his hangry mode.. Todoroki thought. Well since we seem to be going the same direction I might as well join him.. Todoroki started walking side by side with Bakugou. At first Bakugou didn't notice, but then he realized that the fire and ice user was walking with him. "Oi, why the hell are you following me!?" Bakugou yelled with a glare. Todoroki looked at him blankly. "It seems like you're going to the mall, which is where I'm going. So I thought I could join you." he responded. With an annoyed eye-roll, Bakugou continued to walk with Todoroki walking next to him.

~At the mall~

    Todoroki and Bakugou were in the mall looking around. "So what do you want to eat?" Todoroki asked. Bakugou glared at Todoroki. "Tch. You really think I'm gonna eat with you IcyHot!?" He yelled. But Todoroki seemed to be distracted by something. As Bakugou turned to where Todoroki was staring, he saw a restaurant with a sign that read, "Valentine's Special! All couples eat for free!" Todoroki looked at Bakugou with a pleading look. "Are you fucking serious??" Bakugou muttered to himself. With a heavy sigh, Bakugou held out his hand. Todoroki took it gladly while a light shade of red covered his face. His hand is so warm.. He thought. Bakugou turned to Todoroki and glared at him in the eyes. "Just this once. And if you ever tell anybody about this I will fucking kill you. Got it?" He growled. With a light nod, Todoroki led Bakugou to the restaurant.

~In the restaurant~

    As they walked inside, the two boys noticed that the whole restaurant was filled red hearts everywhere. What absolute bullshit.. Bakugou thought with a sigh. As he looked around, he saw couples talking and holding hands, which surprisingly made Bakugou feel lonely. Maybe this won't be so bad.. With IcyHot here..
   
    After they were seated, both boys started looking at the menu. "What are you getting?" Todoroki asked. Bakugou shrugged his shoulder. "I don't know. Nothing on this menu sounds good." He responded. After a few moments of silence Todoroki said, "You can share with me. I'm getting spaghetti." Bakugou grunted. "You think this is a fucking love movie or something?" He said with a growl. Todoroki couldn't help but roll his eyes. "No. But since you can't find anything to eat I figured we could just share something. But if you don't want to than that's fine." Bakugou thought for a moment. "Fine... Whatever.."

    After they ordered and got their food, they started eating. Unfortunately for Bakugou, the waiter only left one plate so they had to eat off of the same plate. Todoroki didn't mind at all. He was actually a bit flustered. He's seen those romance movies with the spaghetti kiss scene. But Todoroki knew better than to try it, even if he really wanted to. After a long moment of silence, Todoroki decided to make a move. He saw Bakugou's hand laying on the table and reached for it. The moment Todoroki's fingers came in contact with Bakugou's hand, Bakugou quickly pulled his hand back. "What the hell are you doing??" Bakugou asked. "We have to act like a couple. Or else the people working here will get suspicious." Todoroki said seriously. But to be honest, he just needed an excuse to hold Bakugou's hand. Bakugou narrowed his eyes. "Fine.. But don't get so touchy." He said as he placed his hand back on the table, which Todoroki grabbed and held. Both boys turned a light shade of red as they held each other's hand. It was awkward for both of them, but at the same time it felt pleasing to feel each other's hand in their own.

    After they finished eating, they started heading to the exit- until one of the waitresses stopped them. "Excuse me, but before you leave, we always take a picture of all of the couples that come here" She said with a smile. "Are you fu-" Bakugou started but was cut off by Todoroki. "It won't take long Bakugou." As Bakugou sighed, the waitress pulled out a print camera and held it up. "Now make a heart with your hands" she commanded. Bakugou was about to protest when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to face Todoroki as Todoroki mouthed to him: just do it. Todoroki made a half heart with his hand and held it up. Bakugou hesitantly made the other half of the heart and held it up to his hand making a full heart. Todoroki half-smiled while Bakugou looked away blushing. A few seconds later the waitress snapped the photo. "There!" she said beaming. After a few seconds the picture was printed out and she handed it to Todoroki. "Have a Happy Valentine's Day!" she said before turning and walking away. As they headed back outside, Todoroki was staring at the photo with a slight smile. Bakugou grabbed the photo from his hands and put it in his pocket. "This is going in the garbage." He said firmly. "I thought you would say that" Todoroki said a little disappointed. Since it was nighttime by this time, Todoroki and Bakugou walked in the dark for a while until they came to a halt. As they turned to face each other, they seemed to feel a bit sad that they're "date" was coming to an end. "Well, I guess I should be heading home now. I had fun Bakugou. I'm glad I spent the day with you.." Todoroki said. Then, without knowing what was happening, Todoroki leaned forward and pecked Bakugou on the lips. Todoroki's face instantly turned a deep shade of red. He quickly turned and started running back to his house, leaving Bakugou to stand there completely stunned and blushing. After what seems like forever, Bakugou was finally able to process what happened. He reached into his pocket and pulled out the picture. As he stared at it, a small smile formed on Bakugou's face. Maybe there is a bit of hope.
