Lizzie was already intoxicated when she turned up at the courthouse to finalise her divorce from Thomas Shelby.

Both had already signed the papers throughout the week but they had to go through a solicitor for it to finally be official.

She was excited to have her own name back again; her old life back. Somehow, in a twisted kind of way, she missed her old life.

Lizzie missed working her 'lady of the night' job despite the fact that she once wanted freed from the title altogether. She also missed having no kids; no responsibilities.

Luckily she was thankful for Tommy offering for her to keep her job because, if she didn't have that job, she wouldn't have been able to survive on just the money she would make during the nights.

"Let's get this over with." She slurred her words as she spoke, stumbling through the room to sit across the table from Tommy. "Where do I sign?"

"I must go over the contract, Miss Stark. We have to discuss what you keep and what you can no longer have." The solicitor spoke slowly as if that would help Lizzie understand better.

It didn't.

"I don't care." Queue the eye roll.

"I've already told her about the kids and her job." The solicitor nodded and raised his eyebrows as if mentally saying that he wanted to know more. "She wants to keep her job and she doesn't care about the kids. That's it."

"Oh, alright. Then just sign on the line that is crossed and we can all finish up here."

Both Thomas and Lizzie signed where they were advised to (Lizzie's was barely on the line but it was there nonetheless) and were on their way home.

Lizzie had planned to live with her sister even though Tommy had told her she could stay at the house until she found a place of her own (even after he told her to pack her things and fuck off) but she didn't want to be around him or the kids.

Meanwhile, Lucille was with both Ruby and Charlie, walking along the canal with them when they bumped into Polly who seemed to be in a rush. Either that or running from someone.

"Hi Polly." Lucille smiled when she saw her.

Although they got off to a bad start (to say the least), Lucille felt comfortable around Polly now that they had sat together and somewhat bonded a few days prior at The Garrison along with Ada.

"Luce," When her eyes settled on the two kids beaming up at her as they gripped the Scot's hands, she lowered her voice so they couldn't hear what she was saying. "You have to get yourself and those kids as far away from Small Heath as possible. I'll tell Thomas but you need to leave; we all do. Business reasons."

"What? Why?"

Lucille was confused because, as far as she was aware, Polly had resigned from the family business a year or two ago and didn't take anything to with both illegal and legal parts of the business anymore.
