Nobody's pov

Joke tried waking up Dagger, but Dagger just played dead. "Get up Dagger!!" Joke said obviously annoyed that his best friend wouldn't get up. "No, I'm dead!" Dagger said while letting his tongue roll out. "Dagger, we have to go to the doctor!" Joke said pulling on Dagger's hand. Dagger didn't respond to Joke, "I'll get you a cherry slushie." Joke said knowing this will work on Dagger. Dagger got up, "well get out of my room." Dagger said.
"Why should I?" Joke said jokingly towards Dagger.
"I need to get changed pervert." Dagger said, and just pushed Joke out of his room. The only words Joke could make out before being pushed where "wha- I-".

Dagger's pov

I got dressed into some clothes with color surprisingly, black shirt, black jeans, red and white tennis shoes, and a white a white jacket over me. My hair looked like a birds nest full of rats. I brushed it out, well, tried to but it curled back up.

I looked into the mirror and in my opinion I looked like absolute shit.

And just to make it worse Joke walked back in.

Joke's pov

I walked back into Dagger's room because we didn't have that much time left till his appointment. When I walked into that room. Holy. Shit. Dagger looked so cute, I mean, colorful.

"You look nice!" I said trying to not show any like towards him.

"You really think so?" He asked

"Yeah! You look better than me." I said.

I was wearing a light grey shirt with the pansexual flag in the middle, blue jeans, and plain black boots.

"Well, I guess we're ready?" Dagger asked looking away from me.

"I guess." I said

Fast forward to the hospital

Dagger's pov

We got to the hospital, walked inside, ect.

"Dagger?" A voice said

I looked around the room until I found the doctor standing in front of the door.

Me and Joke got up, but then the doctor said

"I'm sorry, but only Dagger can be back here with us for this examination." The doctor said looking at Joke.

"Why is that?" Joke asked giving a curious stare

"It's just the rules." The doctor said.

Joke's pov

I watched as Dagger and the doctor went into the back room.

I just sat there waiting for what seemed like an eternity, how long does this stuff take!? I thought to myself until I heard footsteps coming towards me.

"Are you Joke?" A female voice said to me.

"Yes, and what do you need?"

"Yes, I have some bad news about Dagger.." The female said to me while giving me a little frown.

Fuck I thought

"What is the news?" I asked genuinely concerned for Dagger, I mean, I probably shouldn't be to concerned since we're just friends, even though I wanna be more to him.

"He had tested positive for hanahkai.." The female said, "but before you ask any questions, I need to tell you somethings about it." She said while putting her clip board down. "There's two ways to cure hanahkai." (Correct me if I'm wrong please) "one is that he fines the person he loves and confesses to them, but the other one is that he has surgery. That gets rid of the petals, but gets rid of the feelings to." She said

"Do you know who's causing it for Dagger?" I asked with concern in my voice

"We do not know who's causing it at this moment, but we will update you as soon as we can" The female said walking back into the back room.

Oh god, I'm scared for Dagger, I don't Like him. Right?
