Long ago, the Goddess of life, Vita, and the God of death, Mors, conceived four children. Vearo, Retra, Quaten, and Gnisero. Vearo, being the oldest, Retra the second oldest and so forth. With the help of her four children, Vita created an empty shell of a planet she named 'Earth.' On this planet she entrusted her children to create a land that reflected her own hopes and wishes. With her help, her children created a prosperous land, full of plants, animals, oceans, and many untold secrets.
After creating this new land, the four children and their mother created the humans and the natured. Humans had no special abilities, but the natured had similar abilities to those who created them. In this land, Vita's children silently watched over the people and did away with any sort of conflict that may have risen. After hundreds of years her children grew comfortable with the people of their respective elements, and ruled in four bodies that looked similar to their creations. Humans and the natured lived in harmony with no fear of the unknown.
This worked for thousands of years until The Great Demise. Mors rose from his kingdom shrouded in darkness and sensed the presence of life in a land that was unfamiliar to him. He committed unspeakable acts on the humans of the land, killing everyone that he saw in order to maintain the balance of life and death. Today he seeks more, and he will not stop until he destroys every living being on this planet.
