The meeting

Victoria woke up earlier than the maids who wake her, she gets ready and goes into undercover as a normal person and escapes through the window going out of the castle and to the village.

Ryan was already up and was working at his stall but then tax collectors for the castle came to his stall asking for money but he didnt have enough so they proceeded to start tearing apart his stall and beating him while at it.

She saw and heard it and ran over trying to stop the tax collectors. "Stop it, I'll pay for it just don't hurt him any more." She said as she gave them the money.

They look at her and take the money then kick him "you're lucky" they walk off

He laid there on the floor coughing before sitting up "i owe you...a lot...i give my thanks.."

She softly helped him up. "It's ok, you don't have to own me anything." She said softly as she checked his face for bleeding or anything before treating them softly. He looked at her. "Yes..i do."

She ignored him softly as she cared more about if he was okay. "Can I check your ribs and torso?" She softly asked after cleaning his face a little. He sighed. "Ok.."

She softly lifted his shirt and treated his wounds that the guys gave him. She noticed he was really skinny, obviously hadnt been eating for a while.

She soon finished and put his shirt back down and looked at him. "Look, I know we just met but I can help you, just come with me and trust me." She held her hand softly out to him.

"Im sorry ma'am but i must get back to work so i can sell whatever is left of my fruits." He sighed and went back by his stall putting it back together as best he could.

She helped him. "You can go to work, sir, I'll just finish the rest off." She said softly as he obviously had to work.
"What do you mean?" He asked looking at her as she kept tidying. "I mean, you could go and do your work while I tidy this stall." She said as she didn't look at him and kept working on tidying up.
"No its ok you can move on, this is my stall and ill finish it." He said seriously but softly to be polite.

"No, please, I want to help you." She said softly looking at him. "Don't worry, it'll be ok." She insisted.
"Please ma'am, it will be better for you." He looked up at her. "Your mother wont like seeing you with the villagers princess." He recognized her perfectly.

"I don't care if she does or doesn't like it, I hate having to stay inside all the time and have no friends to be with, I just want to be with people, I want to make friends and I want to be around different people." She said softly looking at him.
He sighed. "This village isnt the place for you, all of us are just people barely dragging along to live, go back to your luxury life."
"No, I hate it there, I hate being alone, I hate everything, I just want to be a normal person." She looked at him seriously.
"Trust me, theres nothing to like about this life, look around you" everyone in the village looked pretty miserable, always being hassled by the guards and tax collectors for every penny they have, always being beaten.
She looked at them all and growled. "This is all my parent's fault." She said angrily and looked at him. "Look, let me just help you."
"I dont need help..either buy a fruit or move on..please."
"No, please." She said walking to him. He looked at her. "What?"
"I don't want to leave, I don't want to be alone again." He sighed. "Fine, stay, its your loss being here." She softly tilted her head. "How?"

"You could be relaxing in your castle but you're out here in the mud under the hot sun." He said truthfully. "Look, I just hate being there along with the fact that my parents are forcing me to marry a self-centered idiot, I just want to be a normal person." She said continuing tidying the house with him.
