Today was horrible. Today my mom and dad died , they both got bit. When my mom got bit she did not see the walker , but my dad , he...he...saved me! The walker came out of know where and came at me , my dad lunged in front of the walker and I was saved , but he was not.
After all of that happened it was just me and my little sister trying to fight and live in this new world. When me and my sister were walking in the woods we heard a yell , it sounded like a baby I told my sister , and then we started to run to the noise.
When we got there we saw a little girl about two years old standing by a young woman that was bit. The woman told me that the little girl's name was Lilly , and that I need to save her and keep the girl. And I did.
When this thing first started I was thirteen years old and my sister was four , now I'm seventeen and my sister is now eight. Remember that little girl we had with us... she is still alive! Me , my sister , and Lilly were alive because we found a shelter , and a group of people. We were not afraid. And I'm still not afraid.
