The Drama Club - A Oneus Fanfiction

Act 2

Club meetings are held afterschool. Oh boy, was Eri nervous seeing the clock infront of her class ticks.

"2 more minutes" she thought. Time is going pretty fast suddenly and it's not to her likings. She also realised that she didn't even managed to finish the works given by the teacher in this last period.

The school bell rings, "alright class, if you haven't finished it yet. That will be your homework" the teacher walked out of the class after reminding the student.

"Eri, why do you look so nervous? Something happened? Wait, you didn't even finished the work?" Jun pats Eri's shoulder causing her to yelp in surprise.

"Woa, sorry.." Eri apologised. "Yea.. I didn't managed to finish it, cause I'm nervous like you said"

"Ok girl, calm down.. Its just a club meeting. Plus, there's Keonhee." Jun reassured while packing her stuff.

"Right.. " Eri nodded and also packed her belongings. Outside, stood Keonhee and Hwanwoong talking together. Eri and Jun walked out their class.

"Oh, Eri! Jun!" Keonhee called her out and went to her with Hwanwoong following along.

"Hey, Keonhee and.. Hwanwoong?" Jun replied.

"Thought we go to our perspective clubs together" Hwanwoong just went straight to the point, he just wanted to get to his club quickly or was that the only reason?

"Sure! Bye Eri!" Jun grabbed Hwanwoong's wrist and ran, quickly disappeared from their sight because of how the corridor started to crowded.

"Shall we?" Keonhee asked Eri.

She chuckled in response "Yea, let's go" but her mind repeatedly saying "Oh god, I'm not ready".

They arrived at the school hall and Eri always like how it was designed, the lighting was perfect and it's modern architecture.. This is a prestigious school we're talking.

This is where the drama club meetings will be held from now on. Eri stood closely with Keonhee, the club atmosphere was chirpy that's because it's mostly filled with popular people.

That is until she saw her fellow classmate, Huang Renjun with two other people. She said to Keonhee that she's going to talk with Renjun and he nodded. Keonhee also went to talk with the other members of the club.

"Oh, Eri?" Renjun noticed her walking toward him. "I didn't know you joined the drama club".

She laughed nervously "Correction, I got thrown into the drama club.. What about you? I thought you'll join the art club again".

"Ah.. Same. I got thrown here too" Renjun sighed.

"He tried to confront the office lady but she replied 'you should give some chances to other people, young man' it was hilarious!" The person beside Renjun laughed after imitating the office lady.

"Anyways, the name is Zhong Chenle.. Seung Erim, right?" he pulled his hand out for a shake and Eri laughed while shaking his hand.

"How did you know my name?" She asked.

"How can we not know the person that got partnered up with our Renjun.. By the way, I'm Na jaemin" another guy stated and they both shook hands.

Eri and Renjun has been friend ever since they were paired up to do a project in the art club.

"Then, glad to meet you all" She smiled. Relieved she found other people in the club where she can talk.

"It's not so bad in this club after all" She thought,she could easily get through this.

...

Keonhee was smiling from afar watching Eri talking with the group. "so, you're thinking of getting the position president in the club?" Keonhee asked.

"If I have God's permission then sure" The other person shrugged.

"I'm sure you have it, plus.. You've been in the drama club since middle school.. You're technically a pro now" Keonhee laughed.

"Uhh, no? I still have a lot to learn" He replied.

"You're so humble, Xion" Keonhee smiled and pats Dongju's back. "Everybody here knows who you are, I'm sure if there are votings for the club president, you'll win".

"Whatever you say, Keonhee. Plus, where's the damn teacher?" Xion tapped his feet.

Suddenly, the door at the main entrance of the hall bursted open. The whole place went silent and looked at the entrance. There, stood a woman and Bae Yoora behind her.

The hall gasped and began to whispered.

"Oh my lord, it was true" Jaemin said to the trio.

"What?" Renjun asked.

"There were rumours the old drama club teacher will be replaced and Bae Yoora will join too" Chenle answered.

Eri regained her conscious "and who's this new teacher?" she asked, carefully pointing at the woman walking infront of Yoora and making sure her finger isn't spotted by Yoora or the woman.

"I dont know exactly" Jaemin replied.

"Alright, gather around! This will be our official first club meeting!" The teacher called out and her voice echoes through the hall.

Soon the students all gathered at the stage of the hall and formed a circle. Eri sat beside Renjun and an unknown person, she waved at Keonhee who sat at the opposite of her. Keonhee noticed and waved back.

Then, everybody needs to start introducing theirselves.. Starting with the new teacher.

"Good afternoon students, welcome to the drama club and I will be your new teacher. I'm Bae Hyorin and call me Mrs. Rin.. Also, this club only has 21 members, correct?" she smiled and her voice was very sweet. All of us replied yes.

"We will start the introduction with you then from there, we will go clockwise!" She pointed at Dongju so he stood up and introduced himself.

"Hello. my name is Son Dongju, you can call me 'Xion' and I hope you will take care of me" he bowed and everybody started cheering.

Eri's first impression of Dongju was that he's good looking and his voice was pretty deep but he looked like someone that has a cold personality.

"Woa, everybody knows him" Eri said to herself but Renjun heard it.

"I mean who doesn't, a drama club kid since middle school and have acted in alot of school dramas" Renjun stated and Eri nodded.

After Renjun introduced himself, it was Eri's turn.

She gulped and nervously looked at Keonhee and saw him do a tiny cheer up dance that made her smile "G-good afternoon, everybody. My name is Seung Erim and I hope we all can be friends". She bowed, everybody clapped for her and she felt waves of relief in her body.

Unintentionally, she took a glance at Xion who sat beside Keonhee and their sudden eye contact made Eri looked another way in a blink of the eye. Her face was flushed and thought "how embarrassing" and without her knowing, Xion smiled confusedly.

The last one to introduce theirself was a girl named Irene. "She's so pretty" Eri thought and starting to doubt her own appearance.

"Thank you Irene. Alright, now to appoint the commitee members.. Let's start with the president" Mrs. Rin began and the hall began to get loud.
