You looked at yourself in the mirror. "Look at you... all messy and red, just because you miss him... forget it! Forget him!" you repeated to yourself after crying over your ex Michael.

Suddenly, you hear your doorbell ring. You got curious... your friends weren't in town since they went all camping without you. You didn't wanna go with them because you couldn't leave your home. Well, you could, but only for important stuff. You were in the middle of a bad outstanding debt... your house wasn't the best too and you almost didn't have money for food.

This all happened after you left your parents house. You ran away. You couldn't end your depression by suicide since you were too weak for that and didn't want to leave your loved ones, so instead you ran away.

It's almost the same this as "disappearing", but, this time, it wasn't metaphorical, it was literal.

You looked once more at your reflection in the mirror and quickly tied your shoulder length hair in a mini bun and cleaned your mascara stained cheeks, ran to the closet to get some comfortable pants and sweatshirt and, when you were done, you ran to the front door and carefully looked through the door's peephole, only to see your worse nightmare.

Jackson Wang

I mean- he wasn't your worse nightmare, but what he held in his hands WAS your worse nightmare.

"Y/n? I know you're in there!". You sighed. Although Jackson was your best friend and you wanted to see him, you didn't want to see what was in his hands, you were sick if seeing that.

"Come on Y/n! Open the door! I have other things to do! And I also wanted to talk to you about this!!". You're not gonna do it, Jackson! You thought as you walked away. "Don't walk away!!!". You sighed heavily and went back to the door opening it. "I really didn't want to give you this, aga-", "Just give it to me." you coldly said as you snatched the letter off his hands and let him in.

You say on the couch, followed by Jackson, as you looked at the letter in your hands. You sighed again and ran your hands through your hair, thinking of what you were gonna be made off in the future.

Jackson lightly patted your back, "Hey, maybe I can help you-", "No, Jackson! You are not gonna help me pay my debt!!" you cut him off as you already knew what he was going to say. "B-but...", "Jackson, we already talked about this!".

Jackson sighed. He didn't want to argue about this. He got up and went to the front door, "Then when are you going to pay? There's no time left..." and with that, he left the house.

***

You ran your hands through your hair once more as you looked at the letter. You didn't want to open it. Although you received those once a month, this one looked like something bad was inside it.

You carefully opened the letter, revealing a thin paper. As you looked at it, a drop of sweat slowly made it's way through your face. You read the letter while your heart was pounding really fast. The letter said that if you didn't pay till the end of that month (witch wasn't that far away, you only had one more week to pay) they would take your home and you would be homeless.... yeeeaaah that's not good.
