Beatrice
My hands still hurt, four hours ago I thought I was going to die. Hanging above the chasm is really scary. Eric is a dick and that's not even half of the things he is. It's weird how they treat us here. No one cares about others, they only care about winning. In abnegation everyone was even, here they care about who is first and who is last etc. If you don't get in the first twenty-five, they say bye bye to you. If you don't get in, you be factionless. That's the shittest thing ever, sometimes I think Genevieve isn't strong enough to get in the twenty-five people that get to be in dauntless. I can't even imagine her being factionless, she needs someone to help her, I of course do help her but I'm not good enough.
"Sis we are going to the cafeteria, are you coming?" Genevieve asks me pulling me out of my thoughts.
"No." I reply and pull the covers over my head when she leaves. I'm so hurt, my hands feel numb. It feels like I don't have hands. I close my eyes with the thought to get a little bit of sleep. After a few minutes I hear someone breathing, I don't move, I was listening to the breathing. It was really calming, but loud. I try to act like I'm sleeping and turn around. I still hear the breathing and open my eyes.
"Four?" I say with a questioning tone. What is he doing here?
"Are you okay?" He asks, does he really care?
"Do you really care about that?"
"Yeah, I do." He walks over to me and sits on the bed next to me. I roll my eyes. "Tris, I am not Eric."
"Even if I say I'm not okay, what are you going to do about that?" I say looking him in the eyes. He gets up to leave. "Exactly." I mumble before he leaves.

After Four left the room I got up too, I was being too negative. That's not who I am, I'm not a depressive person. I don't lay in bed whole day thinking about if I am going to make it or not. I am going to make it, I am going to train so hard, I am going to make it.
"Sis are you okay?" Genevieve asks when I join their table. Christina, Catelyn, Al and Will all look my direction.
"Yeah I'm fine." I say and look at the blueberry muffin on Genevieve's plate. "Can I have that?"
She nods and gives it to me, while I eat the muffin, Will and Christina flirt with each other, well it looks like flirting. It seems like Al has his eyes on Genevieve the whole time. I swear if Genevieve finds a boyfriend before I do, I am going to be mad! Christina takes my hand and drags me out of the cafeteria.
"What's up?" I ask her confused.
"What's up with you? You seem so upset.."
"I'm scared Chris, I'm scared that Genevieve won't make it." I tell her, I normally don't show my weaknesses, but Christina, I trust her so much.
"Don't be scared, she's good, she just has to train a little bit more."
"I hope so, I really don't want to lose her.." we were walking outside to get a little bit of air. "Soo, you and Will huh?"
she hides her face, "I like him, a lot, I think he does too, but it's not official yet."
"Ooooooh." I move my eyebrows up and down. "That's cute."
