He knows that there is more to the world than what he learns in school and from his parents. He's purity is his defense against the evil that he's bound to encounter.

Park Jimin
His thoughts about the society and religious contents and practices we're changed when he met Kim Taehyung. He starts to feel uneasy and impure for having these thoughts planted in his mind.
He never lies, atleast that's what he lived with 'til...
His traumatizing past hunts him to this day and it's what's keeping him from being able to make the right decisions for himself. He's purity was his shield against the evil he encountered.
"My parents house made up one realm. This realm was familiar to me in almost every way. Mother and father, love and strictness, moral behaviour and school."
He Spoke an Evil.
Kim Taehyung
He was rebelious. When his mother had perished, he began drinking alcohol almost everyday to the point that it didn't intoxicate him anymore. He once condsidered drinking as a crime, but he's now indifferent to it. This was made by the fissure, another flaw in his imperfect life.
All the little flaws developed in him didn't heal, instead they continued to live and ruin him even more than he already was.
He found his life as a meaningless creation, until he met his mentor and he was introduced to someone who made him feel that he's not alone.
'It was the first fissure in the columns that had upheld my childhood, which every individual must destroy before he can become himself. Such fissure and rents grow together again, heal and are forgotten, but in the most secret recesses, they continue to live and bleed.'
He Hears the Evil.
Min Yoongi
He wants to go back to his childhood. He regretted everything and wants to go home, to go back to his once was innocent, childhood.
He's terrified, terrified of becoming more mature and slipping away from his old, innocent self, running out of time. He burnt his childhood, and therefore it's impossible to go back. He can't understand it.
"There are numerous ways in which God can make us lonely and lead us back to ourselves. This was the way he dealt with me at that time."
He Sees the Evil.
Kim Namjoon
He was philosophical and wise. He was what everyone considered as a, teacher, a father and most importantly, a mentor. He uses all of his intelligence into enhancing Taehyung's knowledge, giving him the chance to learn about things from a different perspective.
